I just found this and didn't see that anyone had posted it yet. I can't believe Alan is 33rd out of 50.

Billboard.com has released their list of the Top Country Artists of 2011. Artists are ranked based on album sales, song downloads and airplay, touring revenue, Social 50 chart action, ringtone sales and streaming data provided by Nielsen BDS. Congratulations to Taylor Swift for being named the Top Country Artist of 2011!

It's all about Airplay and merchandising.Alan has toured all over this past year.
Alan not only sings Great, but also writes his own Songs!

a Lot of the ones listed, Alan let them open for him, thereby giving them a great start.
All ages Love Alan's Music and Hopefully there will be a new group pf Young people, to appreciate his work!

When it comes to Talent, Alan would be on Top! My opinon.

Of course Alan is much better than his ranking indicates. He does get a lot of airplay here in Atlanta. He should be #1 in my book.

The radio here plays alot of Alans old  songs plus the new one   Long Way to Go.
