I just bought the new issue of Country Weekly magazine with Blake Shelton on the cover (Jan 2, 2012 issue) and was surprised to see Alan and his new song/video featured in the "the buzz" column. His new single is "So You Don't Have To Love Me Anymore." Here are couple of excerpts from the article:
"I didn't write this one," Alan told me. "It was written by Jay Knowles and my nephew, Adam Wright. He and his wife go on the road with me from time to time and Adam occasionally sends me songs to listen to. This one just hit me."
"I can say this because I didn't write it," Alan continued, "[but] people are comparing it to 'He Stopped Loving Her Today.' I would never put one of my songs up against that one, but since I didn't write it, it's OK."
Can't wait to hear this song and see the video of it.

Thanks BHR. I am very anxious to hear this song. Truly like Adam's song writing and if Alan loves it, I love it.

BHR , Thanks for posting this. It sounds like a great Song! I can't wait to hear this Album!
Note-Alan always gives credit where credit is due saying "Jay Knowles and his nephew Adam Wright wrote it!" He is so humble and good.
We know the Video of Alan's will be Great!
