I also don't GAC but pray that everything is ok too. Please update for those of us who aren't lucky to have the channel.  I also miss CMT when they had Wild Horse Saloon, Crook and Chase, etc.  I actually was on the show once, my dance group went and danced what a blast.

I saw a preview of their Backstory show the other day. Denise talks about finding the lump. I lost my mother to breast cancer, so it hits very close to home. God Bless Denise and keep her strong and healthy. Can't wait to see the show.

Thanks Dizzy,
I missed the last one, I want to be sure and catch this one. So sorry if Denise"found a lump", it's scary I know But hopefully it's in the early stages. They said in an Interview w/Alan, they had "survived cancer"
My sister was diagnosed with it also & had radiation, right before I saw Alan in person. we took her to the concert with us and she enjoyed Alan so much! I had the most peaceful feeling, after I got over the fear of meeting him.My mom also died, right after the meeting. It was a great feeling of Peace  that one can't explain being near Alan, in these circumstances. I'm sure he will be a huge comfort to his wife.It really shakes a whole Family and I'm sure many of you know the exact feeling, one feels.
My sister is doing great now and has her checkups often. I think "Denise" will be a fighter like my Sister, they are both
believers. I wish the Best for the Family and God Bless, Jerrie-MS
Dizzy we'll be watching Dec 22 Gac-Thanks so Much!

I am blindsided by this news. I had no idea. Knowing what a private person Aan is I should not be surprised.

Prayers going up that Denise will be OK & that she found it in time.

All I see in the backstory   commercial  for the show is  Alan talking about the break up   which is in Denises  book.         Hope to catch the show this week.

One of the promos to Backstory shows Denise and Alan and Denise said she had a malignancy.  There was mention
of cancer in an article awhile ago with Alan mentioning his wife's recovery from cancer.  Also that he wrote a song about it which I assume will be on the new album.   I pray this is all behind them now.

Here are the times for Backstory with Alan & Denise:

Backstory: Alan Jackson

For over 20 years, Alan Jackson has been a mainstay of country music. His knack for writing hit singles has kept him at the top of the charts for most of his career, and his music is as relevant today as it was in 1990. But his tremendous success came at a price, nearly costing him his marriage. Backstory: Alan Jackson reveals Alan’s deep commitment to traditional, country music; but more importantly, his devotion to the women in his life, and the startling health issues they’re currently facing.

Sorry, I saw the preview again for Backstory, and Denise says she had a malignancy, not a lump. Neither is good, but hopefully they have survived it. My prayers go out to the family. I guess we will all find out more tomorrow night. I can't wait. Take care everyone. Merry Christmas.

Here in Canada, or at least our cable provider does not have GAC. Likewise, I miss the old TNN where it was actually about country music and not like CMT of today which for the most part is comedy shows. Does anyone have any idea if/when this show will be rerun on another network. Will it be possible for us to view it online? Being a long-time fan I can't get enough about Alan and his Family. Would love to be able to see this in depth interview. Prayers are going their way, sounds like they may need them at this time in their lives. Keeping the faith.

I don't get GAC, but I'm hoping and praying for Denise and Alan everything will be ok.
Good bless Denise.
