From All Access:

Taylor Swift For President ... What's Left?

What will the 2012 version of Alabama music sound like and will radio take it? This is a big bone to pick. Is the format going to be a teen-driven format or can Vince Gill, Alabama, Alan Jackson and other co-exist? If they can't, then this ship that brought the golden egg may sink. Yes, sink. Teen Country is for the most part not really Country. This all survives like a swamp or a mountain-fed river ... very carefully. Our eco-system is getting way too corporate, way too teeny bopper. Balance and broad-mindedness is needed. If not, may those Spotify jukeboxes do win. ...

MY Sentients EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!Alan has held his ground for Years and He can keep it up! He can sing with any age, as long as it's his choosing the music..I love the way it was for Years, but if change is needed for survival, then Alan can keep up with the Best of the YOUNGER ones! we should Treasure our Country Music Singers, later in life too! They have given us years of such wonderful Music, Go Alan!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems to be all about merchandising with the Younger set. Love Great Lyrics myself!"Balance is needed for sure. Thank You to  whomever wrote this!

Harriet,
I agree about great Songs and Alan's Voice is much better also..He loves his work and it shows!

The younger set get radio airplay.

The Executives should realize also that the Mom's are home listening to Radio more! Kids are glued to their headphones
listening to what they listen to, when at home.
It carried me though the long times of my husband being away in war, and many other wives also.

Radio airplay is so Important . I wish they would play Alan more here! His music is very modern with Traditional roots!
If every Fan of Alan's could Request or Vote on his Songs, they would do much better. You see lines to vote for Carrie and the younger set..
Let's help get Alan's songs out there by voting locally and anywhere possible!

Jeri, Alan is getting a lot of airplay on his songs of the 90's on Kicks Country- the station was bought by Cumulus & they made changes right away. They used to play mostly young artists & songs, now they are mixing in songs from the 80's & 90" & I'm hearing a lot of Alan.

Harriet,
Kicks Country was at the Bridgestone I believe when Alan was there and others at the "All For The Hall"event.
Our Gator country here does great work for the whole city and Alan could do a concert here w/them for free. Downtown
@the Landing. As long as it isn't too cold ha! Jax would love him, they really play Alan's music  but not as much as I would like and I'm sure others also. I noted when driving to MS that AL plays Alan's better than any place we have traveled.Thye simply love him and the cracker Barrel store really stocked up on his goodies that time. i bought everything but the rocking chair lol. It would not fit in the car. They had a great display at Cullman, AL where we went.

I agree, we need for Alan airplay. Let's hope 2012 and his new album brings more exposure for our country master.

When Alan releases a song it is very important that we ALL request at Country Radio. They can't really ignore all those requests.
