Hello my Friends,
I can(t believe that December is almost past!!! Seems like i started the thread yesterday. I was very bussy all the time with my genalogie. I'm already in the 16th. century. Can't go further i think. The weather in Belgium is not so bad. Last weekend we've got snow but after one day it's gone. Forecast for the Christmas weekend: dry and sunny.
Elaine, have a good time with you daughters. Jeri, We celebrate Christmas like everywhere. With GOOD!!! food (we are in Belgium.lol), drinks and packets under the Christmas tree. Turkey isn't a must here. My wife gone do something with pheasant i think. Mmm "lekker" like they say in Flemish.lol Harriet, good news you don't need surgery. Enjoy the partry at your sister. Suzanne, how is the weather at the Bodemsee? A lot of Belgians go to the Alps for Christmas holidays. As you, USA is my favorite vacation country. I visited a lot of States as well. About 17 i think. My favorites are Wyoming, Montana, Arizona and New Mexico ... and all the others!lol. Favorite city: Nashville! Canada was great to. But it's complete different. I traveled across Alberta and British Colombia ... marvelous nature! But the beautifulesd mountains are the Alps, no doubt! Kathy, same a you, i'm pré-retired (no part time job) and always bussy. I hope post more in 2012. BHR, Texasfan, miamired, AlanEJacksonFan, ... and all i missed, have a Very Merry X-Mas and a Happy New Year !!! And please .. drive carefuly !!!
Jean

Hello everybody, It's already 22. december ! Today I have still time to decorate the christmas tree. Tomorrow and on Saturday I have to go to work. I'm pleased each time to hang up my loved christmas tree balls. The colors are, as could it different be: Red, Silver and Blue ! Between them my favorite balls: painted balls with stars and stripes ! And this year I even have a Christmas Ornament of Alan. Great ! Jean, the weather in Switzerland is split. We had here snow at the Bodensee, But today it's raining and the snow is gone. But in the mountains in the skiing areas it continues to snow. So, it has enough snow for snow sport. But unfortunately it will give green Christmas here in the flat country. Harm. But how the weather will be, it doesn't matter, I wish all AJ Fans beautiful Christmas days and a happy and healthy New Year ! Susanne

Tree is decorated, presents wrapped, most of the holiday cooking is done & now I can breathe! What a hectic time, but I really love all of the holiday celebrations. No snow for Christmas this year, but I'm not complaining about 40 deg weather in December EVER! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a healthy & blessed 2012!!

It looks like it will be a green Christmas for us, here in Southern Ontario. It would of been nice if it was whiter.

Elaine, glad you had a wonderful Christmas with your family. Hope everyone else here did. We did have a good Christmas with my hubby's family except that I had been sick. As I had predicted, I was full blown sick with a real bad head cold couple of days before Christmas that I had to excuse myself from the table during our Christmas dinner, take my meds and go to bed. We're back home and I'm still sick and still feeling a little miserable with the cold and cough. I hope I get over this by New Year's Day.
Love Alan's new song! Take care everyone.

Had a wonderful Christmas with my extended family. Got to connect with some of the newer members of the family. And yesterday a wonderful Anniversary. We went to Red Lobster & they had an allergy menu & they helped me pick out a gluten- free meal.
BHR- So sorry you are sick. You know- rest, fluids & more rest. Take care & hope you are well by New Year's.
Elaine, glad you had a wonderful family Christmas.
Kathy, Jean & Susie- Glad you also had a good Christmas.
Love to All & A Happy New Year to Alan & Family & all of the Fans.

Fans,
I hope each of you had a wonderful Christmas! We decided not to travel, so much traffic. Our family here came over Christmas Day to eat and we had a great time. My sister and her hubby were just by yesterday and stayed last night with us, so we really enjoyed that.We still have Nashville coming up to see our Grands, when the weather improves.
I hope all of you had a safe and Happy Holiday! New Years we are staying home and watch the ball drop in NY! go out to eat early. Take care to all of you and have a Happy New Year! Stay Safe. Jeri-MS

Happy New Year to all AJ Fans! May 2012 bring you peace, health & happiness.
We are having a lot of rain - snow just 50 miles or so to the north of us. I'll keep the rain & 40 any day! Staying in tomorrow night to watch the ball drop in NY - usually don't make it for the Chicago celebration.
