Hi everyone,
I have been reading your posts, and have enjoyed them a lot.
I am a fan club member, and my name is Noel.
Forgive me for not really knowing just what I am doin here, and is it ok, as to trying to post this.? lol
Well if I am all convuleted, someone please tell me what I have done wrong here.
Three years ago, I never knew who Alan Jackson was. I was never a fan of country music at all.
As music is secondary to breathing for me; nonwithstanding our family.
So I am in to a multitude of music.
Then, a net friend sent me a video of Alan performing.
As I watched this gifted singer/great song writer, and Alan is so very handsome, and easy on the eyes.
So, the first video, I loved, The black and white, Here In The Real World.
Last October, we had the privlage of seeing Alan in person, at the Sears Arena, in chicagoland burb.
We were fortunate to have 7TH row seats.
He was extrordinary, and his voice is, well you all know.
I have been catching up on him, and things that were put out years ago.
I am going to sign off for now. I do so look forward to meeting all of you.

Noel Welcome!
I'm so happy you discovered Alan's Music and got to see him recently also. You meantioned his work that done back when. I feel that some of his Songs, perhaps best work is not played that much on radio. One from the past I love is "I'll Go On Loving You" and the Video is awesome. I'm so glad you discovered Alan's a gifted Singer /Songwriter. He has this super nice personable way about him that is so charming.Super, super Nice and humble. His work from the "High Milege " days I listen to today. It never seems outdated."Here in The real world" is one of my favorites.
Like you I go to the symphony with my husband and like other Singers also, but I can identify with Alan's music and really like his work. I seem to listen to him more than anyone now. CMT has a clip of his Video, "I'll Go On Loving You" take a look at that one and see just how creative Alan is. not afraid to put his feelings out there, Love it!
Fan Club members have become good friends, so welcome and we are all discovering this new board , so you are doing nothing wrong. I am the worst at typo errors ha. Come back often & we discuss Anything Alan.
So glad you post, as a Fan.

So happy Alan's "Sissy's Song" won! It seems to still be playing well on radio here still. I thought it would win really.
