Tammie, so sorry to hear this. Thank you for letting us all know. I had no idea that she has cancer. I am honored and glad to have known her even just through the cyberspace. . .the AJFC forums. . .and having had the opportunity to exchange cards with her on the previous Christmas card exchange the fans here at the forum had. My condolences, thoughts and prayers to your family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Tammy I am SO sorry to hear about Carol. She and I would email each other about any concerts in Michigan and last time I saw her was a few years ago at a concert at either the Palace or DTE.She had on her Alan Jackson autographed jacket, and I had made her up a Alan Jackson tape, she was truly a great friend .My prayers for you and your family.Deb

Tammie, it is so ironic that I spotted your message. As you can see, I rarely visit the forum any more. I just popped in to wish AJ a Happy Birthday!
I live in Michigan too and met your Aunt Carol in person at an AJ concert in Ft. Wayne, Indiana several years ago. We visited quite a bit on the old K&W back then.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Carol was a sweetheart and I've so very sorry to hear of her passing.

Truly sorry to hear this. I never met Carol Balla but I am very familiar with that name when it comes to Ala Jackson Fans. She was here many times and on other boards I have visited over the years.
