Sue, Oh My! those close up shots of Alan were great!! Sure can tell you weren't shooting them from the mezzanine hehe!
Looks like you were really having fun , but Alan's Jeans got a Knee out completely LOL.. Great shots and the write up from your link, was perfect.. I have sat where you were, most all times and you had a great view! Sounds like a great Concert & "WWY" didn't change the pace of it too much.. I always love that song , no matter how excited I am to see Alan perform others too. He seems so happy and not the least bit tired, but he had a day or so to rest after The Grand Ole Opry, didn't he!!! Just great Photos and so happy you got to see him again. The StrayHorns too!
Get well soon! I'm sure it's bound to get better of your cold after seeing Alan hehe! seriously, Feel better soon!
Loved what Alan wore, he had on a pretty shirt at the Opry, My favorite Black, I think!! I met him when he was wearing black. It could have been DK Blue from the mezzanine , i really could not tell. That night was a good place for me to sit as some of the New Bands were loud & with my vertigo, it might not have been good for me. My husband always makes my photos while I watch Alan, isn't he nice!.
Are you sure it wasn't you asking Alan to marry YOU lol, you can throw your voice. I know Alan laughed at that one LOL So glad you got to see Alan, I'm still hoping for a FL date at UCF, St Augustine or Jax, Florida Theatre. or MS !Just so happy for you but sorry you didn't get a Meet and Greet, You really are a great Fan flying all over to see Alan & taking Dizzy. Get some rest hon and thanks again for the photos! Great Shots!
I know you were tired today for teaching.. Alan is so worth going anywhere or being tired to just see him ! I know you enjoyed that stage, being close..You are so brave. I have only done that once ,and the guard helped me back! Take care, Jerrie-MS (Oh Sue, YOU got to hear "THE BLUES MAN" fantastic!
