Dear Alan,

On this eve on 9-11, I felt it appropriate to express my long over due gratitude to you.  Thank you for so much that you have contributed to the art of music and to the music in life itself.  If I were President of this land, you would have a medal hung around your neck for your writing and singing of "Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning." It's so true that the world seemed to stop turning that day, but you sir, made the often too big world seem so much smaller when we heard that song.

You are one of those people that I feel so sincerely about with regard to actually having regret in my life if I were not express gratitude to.  Hopefully, I will see meet you one day, shake your hand, give you a hug and be able to look at you and say, "Thank you, Mr. Jackson!"

Miamired,
Alan has Performed for more than one President and his "Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning" is now in the Library of Congress. I feel the same about Alan's Song as you do. It was so healing for so many..still is.

I got to see and Meet Alan and talked about anything I could remember to, I was so in awe of the man. One thing I have
always regreted is not saying to him, thanks for that Song. That was my intention but it was so amazing meeting him, I forgot to mention it.. I hope & Pray you get your chance to tell him.
God Bless, Jerrie-MS & FL

Yes THANK YOU ALAN JACKSON for the song that helped heal our nation, and all the others that have touched our hearts and our lives. You are indeed a very special individual and I too hope someday to meet you.  Take care!
