I'm excited about this news. Have really missed the Opry on GAC.
Excerpt form an article about GAC's Fall Programming:

Grand Ole Opry Live is also coming back to GAC with six new installments airing Saturday nights this fall.  The network hopes to have a full schedule of Grand Ole Opry Live next year.

This is indeed exciting news.  I have really missed watching the Opry on Saturday nights.  I hope the George Jones Birthday party is aired sometime, even though it's not on a Saturday night.

So glad to hear this news....I couldn't believe they would even take it of the air...that was a sad day and with such a big change in the Opry...I think they should give some of the older ones dates on there as well as the young new artist.

Dizzy, and all Fans;
Here are some of the ones we will see in September @the Opry,with Alan..GAC should film this for later showing.

"Grand Ole Opry: George Jones 80th Birthday Celebration: Alan Jackson, Jamey Johnson, Oak Ridge Boys, Joe Diffie, Pam Tillis, Blackberry Smoke, Eric Lee Beddingfield, and more."

Nice mix for a lineup. I like the Oak Ridge Boys and George Jones w/Alan will be fun. Jamey Johnson is good also
This will most likely be televised.. I have been at many that were by GAC and Once I was row 2 right by Alan's side. I enjoyed it as we could see the whole band.  It will be fun, George Jones looks marvelous for his age..Wouldn't it be great to hear Alan & George do one together such as.."Good Year For The Roses" Love it!

Can't wait for September . See all you Fans there hopefully, who are going..we go to MS first, so we will be rather tired.
God Bless and be safe Everyone driving there. Jerrie

Jeri...I hope you are right and that show will be televised. It's getting closer and I am so excited. The line up is top notch.

Great news Harriet.   Thanks for letting us know.   Anxious to see the Grand Ole Opry again on television since I can not drive there.  Yee Haw...     Praying for Alan's appearance to be televised.  Been awhile since he has appeared on the Opry.
