Hello everybody,
Elaine, i think you had the same summer as we had. Very bad !!!
Anita, good luck with the works in prospect.
Harriet, Jerrie, I'll see i can find "Mountain Soul 2" of Patty Loveless.
Alan's new album is coming out this fall?... looking forward too !!!
Hope everybody is safe from the hurricane.
Good night / day everybody

We are having beautiful weather - the weatherman said this area benefited from the hurricane because of the 'High' pressure system we are having. Don't understand all the technical stuff, but I'm thankful for our weather. And I'm sorry to hear about the deaths & destruction that's happening in the eastern US. So glad they put out early warnings & evacuations - it could have been worse.
I went to see 'The Help' this weekend. Really enjoyed that movie. Read the book too and loved it! I highly recommend both the book & the movie if you haven't read or seen them. Everyone in the movie theater enjoyed the movie and they all clapped at the end.
Stay safe everyone!

Well the last day of August is here and its still hot and humid. Weatherman says next week should start cooling to 80s days and cool mights. Everyone take care . So glad some areas from the hurricane storm are getting there power back on.
