I remember when I first heard Alan's "Here In The Real World". I was upstairs and heard it on our radio station and I hollered down to my husband and said "listen to this", and then I said that is going to be a hit. And sure enough it was and that was 20 years ago. Then when "Remember When" came out, I cry every time I here it, a good cry. It depicts everything in my husband and my life to a tea, especially when we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary next March. The words are so true for all these years. I just wanted to say thank you for all your years of singing the right songs for all of us. Thank you again,,,,Carol (a fan for life)

I have seen Alan sing this songs numerous times in Concerts, but never tire of it. It's a wonderful Song, the very kind Alan has written. He closes his eyes sometimes when he sings this and the video's of his Dad & himself ,when he was little is on the big screen , also he and Denise. I think mattie may be in this one also.We all can identify with this Song in some way and I get teary too.

For me the best part of Alan's music is that most of us can relate to it...it's "real". Likewise Remember When is special for hubby and I who will celebrate 35 yrs of marriage next month. Thanks Alan, not only for being a great singer of simple songs but moreso for your songwriting ability you so freely share with all of us.
