Oh dear Patti I am so very sorry for your terrible loss.  It is never easy when we lose those we love.  It takes a long time to start to feel any less grief.  Do what you have to do for yourself.  Whatever it takes to get thru the day.  Just take it one day at a time.  I hope you have some family and friends shoulders that you can lean on.  I will keep you, your son and grandson in my prayers.  God bess you Patti.

Patti, I was saddened to read your post.  May God Bless you and your family.  Memories are precious.  Take care and take comfort in family, faith, and Alan's music to get through the bad times.  Prayers and hugs.

Patti,
I am just now reading about your husband. At least you have good memories of him.
So sorry, may God Bless you and your family in this difficult time of need.

Patti,
I'm still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. There are many phases of grief , my sister tells me.She took grief couseling at her Church to help them with the loss of their son. This might be a help for you also. They never forget and honor him at his Birthday every year since..
I was faced a while back with the possibility of my Husband of 46 Years might have be down w/a life threatning Illness and I had to really think seriously about that possibiity. He is keeping his strength up and watching to make sure his tests are done on time. Thank God, he had a second chance. I would be lost without him.
May God give you that peace, that he speaks about and in time, you will take each day as it comes and the pain lessens.
I can't amagine how you must feel now, but sending prayers always. We are here for you, Love to You, Jerrie

Patti, I am so sorry to hear about your loss.  My thought and prayers go out to you and your family.  I would be lost if something happened to my husband.  He is my soul mate.  I lost my dad four years ago this month, my mom and step-daughter
almost ten years ago and I still have difficult times with them being gone.  The one thing I do have is the memories of all the good times we had.  You will have that forever.  Anita

I have to thank all of the wonderful Alan fans, it has helped to hear all the kind words.  I am taking one day at a time.  I will tell you that it is very hard.  I do listen to Alan, and find comfort in his music.  I pray to god to at least give strength to my son, they were very close went fishing all the time, my grandson loved his papa, and misses him as we all do.  I do have my sisters here, one moved from Indiana to be with me.

I hope that all of you are doing well and again, thanks for the kind words, the thoughts and the PRAYERS.
