BHROk, I found a link to a clip of this song from Seattle's KMPS radio station and a link to a first review I found about it from Taste of Country site. From the clip, I can't make an honest response to the reviewer's quite negative take on it. My initial reaction to what was said was, "What the heck is he talking about?." He's either not a fan of REAL country music (traditional) or not a fan a fan Alan's music at all. You all be the judge. Oh, by the way, you all can also vote below the clip how you liked the song.

Agree that it is to hard to tell from just a couple of lines so we do need to hear more.
Ouch..on the review. After watching the CMT Awards last night we do not seem to be country anymore.

Thanks - didn't notice that when I read that 'horrible' review. Like I said before, it's a cute summer song and I'm hoping a 'cute' video will follow!
The CMT Music Awards were last night? Didn't register with me, especially considering the host.
So glad to have new music from Alan and can't wait for the new album.

Love this Song and with a good video, it will be fine..So nice to hear Alan sing again, something new.. He is traveling so much, I'm afraid he is too booked up to come to Florida this year boo hoo.
I hope he does something here around the Holidays, that would be great!

You and me both, Kathy. I didn't notice it either. Guess I was too focus on that ugly review to have paid noticed to the link there. Thanks, Beth, for re-directing us back there. It is a very awesome song and now that I've heard it I'm more convinced that the guy that did the review doesn't know what the heck he's talking about. That just irritated me. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the album.

I agree with you all about the review and reviewer.. Totally off with that one buddy. Ignore the negative review.
We've been around long enough to know what's good. Glad you all found the link to listen to the whole song.

Listened to the song & liked it. It's catchy & I hope radio will like it.
Certainly don't agree with Mr Dukes' review or rating of only 2 stars. It looks like there are plenty of posts on the blog letting him know he's out of his mind.
I will be requesting this song.
