Harriet, so glad you enjoyed the wedding, sounds nice. My daughter had a Victorian Church wedding, but My Son wed at the beach where they have a condo(Time-Share) in Coco Bch. I thought the wind would blow us away and my hair was all over my head for the photos LOL, tHEY GOT A GREAT SHOT OF HER VEIL oops that blew over their face as they kissed, so nice..really a nice idea for a shot of the wedding.. Now years later , They have Twins..and went through the Nashville Historic flood and survived..So I guess they will make it , after all this..
My BIL drove them to get on the ship(Since they live near there) for the wedding cruise Honeymoon.. It was a storm near them, so they stayed in their room about the whole time ha! rather rocky and scary but made it fine, a huge ship.
This was my first beach wedding and My last LOL-- It was nice for them, they had a huge dinner on the water for Everyone..before they left.
We had the rehearsal dinner at Cafe Margaux,Beautiful cake and flowers.
Dr Appnt Tomorrow, I hope to feel better soon.. Take care to all of you.. Hugs, Jerrie

Jeri ms  We are having some really warm weather 95 high but I
see there are other farther north that is hotter than us in Florida.
To bad about the smoke from the fires and you asthma and I am sure the
heat doesn't help you at all. I am not going to Nashville this month
for fan fair if Alan is only singing with just Zac Brown and daily
tickets in top part of the arena. Will be going to Nashville later...

Elaine, thanks for the June thread. And succes with the quilt. Maybe a picture when he's done?
Sharon, About Lance Armstrong, i wonder why his old teammates do this to him. Are they right?
I planted my herbs in pots too this year and they were never as beautiful as now.
Kathy, good luck with the herbs and flowers.
Jeri, hope you get good news by the doc.
Hello Harriet, dizzy, Brenda, AJTexasfan, Dee, Jean A and all my Alan Jackson buddys.

We've got the dryest Spring in years with a lot of heathfires. The weekend was supper ! 90° with a little breeze. We went to the Special Olympics suporting for our daughter Nathalie in the swimming competition. She did it very well. Two silver medals in breast and backstroke and a six place in freestyle.
Friday we leave for Whitsun weekend at the Belgian coast. Do you celebrate Whitsun in North America?
They play "Little Bitty" on the radio (The Blaze Hit Country 103.5) Somebody know when Alan's new album is coming out?
btw. i love Ronnie Dunn's "Bleed Red" , Gonna bye his album.

Have a Good Time my friends ...

We went from record-breaking 100deg weather to 60deg weather over night.  We had some huge thunderstorms & lots of wind last night.  The sirens were going off and alerts all over the TV.  I don't like that!
Today it is windy & 60 - what a difference from that horrible 100deg weather.

JeanB, congrats to Natalie on the medals.

Nothing much here but heat!  Tonight is the last night of Bible school.  It has been fun and Jerry has been a gem since he has had to fend for himself with dinner.

Wish AJ was touring close to me.  Chattanooga is the closest and it's a festival.  They say fan fair is hot, anyone there from here?

Y'all have a great weekend.

Sharon,Yes the one at Chattanooga is a festival I guess. I wanted to go so bad, but I'm ill I called my cousin who lives there and he has backstage passes to this one. I do wish I did feel like going & he could get us in, maybe..Through his work somehow he gets passes as he provides some service for that. I think he must know someone ha My asthma is much too bad to be outside.
We have horrible smoke around Jax  due to fires all around and closed highways. I don't need this now, we need rain bad. so on World Prayer Day( Saturday) Please pray for rain for Us..and no storms for anyone..

I go back for Tests next week and a procedure on my ear for my balance.. It's no fun to have vertigo believe me..My ear is causing severe balance problems.
I hope all of you are ok, I got on just long enough to see. I watched the CMT's last night , only a few good songs..I didn't see Alan so I was disappointed..I was surprised  Ronnie Dunn didn't get to sing his new one",BLeed Red", he sings his heart out in this one and I love it! So many Great Singers passed over..Where is our Great Country Singers!!.. I did think Rascal Flatts song was good. Some sound more like Rock or Rap, and I am not at an age to tolerate that..or want to.ha!
'Jean/B , so happy that your daughter won her medals , that is Great! I know you are proud of her..

Sharon, you sound like I used to be , teaching Bible School, I have had to stop those activities recently..due to my health..
I'll be so glad to get back in Church regularaly and both volunteer to help some,  if hubby feels up to it..
Take care to all AJ Fans here, Jerrie

Kathy I pray the storms are not causing any
damage in your area.
Jean congrat to Natalie on her swimming
medals.
Sharon so sorry it is still so hot there. We still
have not had really hot weather here.
Jeri so sorry to hear you have smoke in the air there.
I hope it is not causing you health problems.
We have the poplar tree fluff flying in the air. This
morning it was so bad it looked like snow coming
down. I can't sweep it need to vacuum it up. Every
time I open the door to let Georgie in it comes into
the house (LOL)

Hello, AJ Pals. The heat continues here in Dixie & other places even North of us. Praying for rain & cooler weather.
So glad Alan has released a new song & has a new album coming. I like the song & don't worry about the critic because it is the fans that buy the music & request it at radio.

BHR- Thanks for the links in regard to Alan's new song.

Jeri- Sorrry you're having vertigo & prolems with your asthma. Hope you will feel better.

Sherry- 105 degrees! Oh, that is too much!

Elaine- so sorry about your computer problems. That can drive you crazy.

Sharon- Hoping we might get a concert here later in the year- if not will just wait til next year.

Roundtop- You sound really busy. Glad you are getting to see Alan & sorry about the ticket problems.

JeanB- Big congrats to your daughter for her medals- how wonderful. I joined Ronnie Dunn's fan club as a non paying member. I do have access to the message board & when I ordered his album I got it last wee & it was signed. What a voice he has. Buying his album was a no- brainer for me.

Hello to Dizzy & Allison.
