Not only Scotty is the first male country artist to win he also is the youngest country artist and I also believe that he is the youngest male of any genre to win!
Scotty sure did break a lot of records by winning on Idol!

I must admit , I am not a regular of this show. I took voice myself, so I started watching and voted for him. His voice was good for such a young guy.
I actually watched when my sister called me from FL and said "Jerrie. Scotty Mccreery is singing Alan's Song , "Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning." I jumped on and watched, and it blew me away. I will buy his CD also.

There was so much talent on American Idol this season, but Scotty was my favorite from the start. So happy for him and am sure his future will be very bright.
