HI FRIENDS AND HAPPY EASTER ONE AND ALL!!  I HOLD ALL OF YOU IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS THAT ARE IN THE DANGEROUS TORNADO ZONES, HOW DEVASTATING THAT CAN BE.  SHOVELING SNOW IS ONE THING, BUT PICKING UP THE PIECES AFTER A TORNADO IS FAR, FAR WORSE.

MY GOODNESS, HAVE I NOT HAD A STRUGGLE WITH MY BELOVED MN. TWINS SO FAR...UNTIL TODAY!!!  I JUST KNEW ONCE THEY GOT BACK HOME FROM THAT MISERABLE ROAD TRIP, IN THEIR FRIENDLY PARK, THEY'D PICK IT UP, AND TODAY WAS JUST GREAT, 13 TO 3, AND GOOD PITCHING AND HITTING.  THEY HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH SO MANY INJURIES AND SICKNESS, BUT THINGS WILL TURN AROUND NOW.  YOU KNOW ME, I LOVE "MY BOYS"!!

I WILL BE HEADING FOR DOOR COUNTY ON WEDNESDAY...FOR THE BIG WEDDING FESTIVITIES ETC.  MY NIECE AND I PLAN TO BE UP AT DAYLIGHT TO TAKE IT ALL IN.  I WILL HAVE A TIARA, WHITE GLOVES AND PEARLS (AND A BATHROBE) SO YOU CAN'T TELL ME FROM THE QUEEN (LOL).  WE ARE GOING TO A NEARBY ENGLISH INN FOR DINNER THAT EVE.  YOU KNOW WHAT??  AREN'T WE ABOUT DUE FOR HAPPY NEWS FOR A CHANGE?  I HEAR ONCE IN AWHILE SOMEONE COMPLAIN ABOUT ALL THE COVERAGE, AND I SAY, WHATS WRONG WITH A FAIRY TALE NOW AND THEN. THE WORLD GIVES US PLENTY TO CRY OVER, LETS TAKE THESE NICE THINGS AND RUN WITH THEM.   A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG COUPLE, AND I WILL ENJOY EVERY BIT OF IT! ( PS. THE TIARA IS FROM WAL-MART, AND THE WHITE GLOVES LENT TO ME BY A FRIEND.  THIS IS THE GOOD OLD USA, AFTER ALL, WHERE ANYONE CAN BE QUEEN FOR A DAY!!  I HAVE "THE WAVE" DOWN PERFECT.)  WE'LL HAVE SOME LAUGHS ALONG THE WAY.

BEEN WATCHING "DANCING WITH THE STARS", AND REGRETTED SEEING BOTH SUGAR RAY AND PIA VOTED OFF.  BOTH HAVE SUCH PLEASING PERSONALITIES, WHILE A CERTAIN WHINING/ATTITUDE-PROBLEM INDIVIDUAL IS STILL THERE.  THE GAL FROM CHEERS HAS HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR OVER THEIR VARIOUS FALLS AND SHOE FALLING OFF STUFF, THATS WHAT I LIKE TO SEE.

NOW YOU ALL STAY UPRIGHT AND SHOES ON NO MATTER WHAT MOM NATURE THROWS YOUR WAY, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE WEATHER WILL BE LIKE IN WISCONSIN WHILE I'M THERE, BUT I'M PREPARED FOR MOST ANYTHING. JUST NOT A TORNADO.

Hello, Friends. We are under the gun now with severe storms & a tornado watch. North of us there have been some tornadoes & this is nerve- wracking to watch on TV but glad we still have power. We could use some prayers because it really looks bad.

If I survive these storms I will definitely watch the Royal Wedding. I watched Queen Elizabeth's coronation back in the 50'S & the wedding of Prince Charles & Diana..

Harriet,
So glad to know you are ok but i'm sure it must be terrible for you there. Seeing it on TV, I had to stop, it was reminding me of my son's house near Nashville and the flood. I pray for all of you, those kids went through hell and I feel bad that I could not go there to help at the time, because of illness.

Harriet, I hope you don't get hit like this last time again, the weather has been so odd. They say we are to get severe thunderstorms w/lightning tomorrow. It is the same system but hopefully weakning. I'm sure it has been nerve wrecking for you. It is for me and up until this, we have dodged the bullet, so to say..

Lordy they just had another in AL , new alert..50 killed there oh dear God! Harriet stay in your basement.. We have not got to go home to MS in ages due to the weather in between & there..Take care to All of you in path of these Storms. Dee I heard about AK, stay safe and God bless. Thanks for posting..we have friends there.
Harriet, I want to watch the wedding also..I hope you keep your power.. During storms we don't like to use generators unless it's safe..always remember to put them outside, never in garage or closed area..Some homes here have them for hurricanes but we usually go away if it's over a cat 2. Stay safe, God is good.
Love and prayers to all concerned. Jerrie-MS

Harriet, we're having severe thunderstorm now and is on tornado watch. We're in the thick of it this time. You're right, prayers are in order. I can' sleep with the lightning and thunder going on. We have no basement so if if worse comes to worst we'll be either in our closet, bathroom or laundry room. Oh, boy!

Better get off this computer and go to bed before the power goes out. Take care all.

Oh my, stay safe everyone who is threatened with severe storms.  It has been a horrible April for the Southeast.  Prayers to everyone.

We have had lots of rain & cooler weather, but nothing severe around me for a good while.

Hope everyone had a nice Easter - we had 8 at our table.  Good food & good company.

Not sure I'll be up at 3am to watch the wedding - if I wake up I'll turn on the TV, but I'm not setting my alarm.  It will be all over the the TV tomorrow so I'll watch reruns. HA!
JeanAZ - I know you are having a good trip to Door County - enjoy the show!

Jerrie, thanks for your concerns. We were spared the tornado but went on tornado warning just 5 minutes after I shutdown my computer. The thunderstorm was real bad and scary and kept me and our kids awake. Hubby slept right through it. Figures! :-) Don't blame him, though. He just got back from the business conference he attended in Pittsburg so he must be real tired from the travel.

Harriet, how did you fair in your area? And how are you and your hubby doing? Hope you're both well and safe. Had you in my thoughts and prayers.

Take care eveyone and enjoy the viewing of Royal Wedding tomorrow. Kathy, not sure I'll get up that early either to watch the whole thing unfold. Might set up our DVR, though, although as you said, it will be on tv all day so why not just watch the reruns of it. My family also have a celebrating of another kind to do tomorrow. . .another reason I shouldn't be getting up too early lest I'll be too tired and maybe even fall asleep during our own celebration. . .especially it's for me. I don't think my hubby and our kids will appreciate that. :-)

Thanks, BHR, Jeri, Kathy & the rest. We were spared & didn't get a scratch but there were tornadoes & destruction all around us, smashed homes & 18 wheelers on their sides & we did have some fatalities in GA but but not like Alabama & Arkansas- I think they got it the worst. Over 300 dead in the South total. We are so fortunate to have been in a little zone where no tornadoes hit but many of our counties are being declared disaster areas.

Harriet, you are so lucky, God was with you.. and your home..that sounds bad there..
Whew! So happy to know you are ok.. I know that was scary. It looks like a war zone in AL, no houses in some areas.
You were Indeed blessed. We had intended to go Home to MS this week, but decided to wait and My Husband not cancel his Dr visit. If we had gone Home in MS, that is the very area we would have gone through and perhaps spent the night. Sometimes we go & stop In AL there if we are tired. It has had some tornados before but not this terrible with loss of lives
thus far 250 and probably will be more. Obama is touring it tomorrow and sending the National Guard..
Take care Harriet, BHR, Dee and all of you,I'll say prayers for this tragedy.
We are under a severe Thunderstorm warning now, possible hail & winds to 50 or 60.  My husband sleeps also but I will stay up and watch the wedding BHR. I shut my computer down if it's bad lightning..one was ruined before, even with a
good UPS. Take care Harriet & stay in that basement j/k It really saves lives. all my relatives in MS have basements but
Our house there, doesn't either.  Stay safe. Looks like this same system is headed up the east coast Oh My! Jerrie-MS
