Thanks, BHR. I love that last line. And generally I agree with him. A lot of what's on Coutry Radio is singers trying to prove how country they are with songs full of country cliches. I cannot stand another tractor song.....Please!

Nice article and so great to see the mention of Alan's beautiful song.  So many hearts and souls were comforted by the song.   It was so stunning to see the NY firemen come to Nashville years later to present Alan with the fireman's hat from their responder's unit.   It will endure the test of time.
