Thanks for the info, Somebody. I'll vote for the best video, but I don't know about doing line dancing. LOL! It will be interesting to see the videos the AJ fans will come out with, though. Good luck to all who will join this contest.

Beth Thanks!
Just before I read this, I was watching Jay Leno and up popped the GE commercial! Love it! and the strange part is, I hate commercials usually but never tire of this one! Great Job and so pretty & just a great little commercial. It's a well done one too!
The other shorter part to this video also with the cute little elephant is so darling! GE has always been in our home since my mom & dad's home, good products and this contest is Great!
Just a Great Ingenious Idea! Jerrie-MS

It's a great Idea! Look under HOME at the Top Left or here is a link;
Quote LATEST NEWS; 02.16.2011GOOD TIME Featured in New GE Online Contest NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 16, 2011) Country music superstar Alan Jackson’s hit song “Good Time” is currently featured in an upbeat television commercial for GE’s ecomagination technology initiative, created by BBDO NY, showing line-dancers from all walks of life spreading around the world. GE is now launching an online video contest in conjunction with the same concept.
Beginning today, February 16, fans can go to GE’s www.youtube.com/ecomagination and a video message from Jackson will invite them to submit their own home videos of the line dance moves as seen in the ecomagination TV commercial. GE wants fans to get in step with ecomagination and join the line dance with a goal of making history with the world’s longest line dance online. All videos submitted will help GE donate 20 years of clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations through its affiliation with “Charity: Water,” www.charitywater.com, a non-profit organization.
For the next two months, fans can also vote for their favorite video and the final top 12 videos are chosen by their votes. The best line dance video, selected by GE, will win a GE ecomagination Home Appliance Makeover with up to $10,000 of eco-friendly GE appliances.
“Good Time” was originally written and recorded by Jackson for his platinum-selling album of the same name. It can be found on his latest release, the two-disc set 34 Number Ones. The album showcases every chart-topping hit from Alan's career, including the Grammy Award winning “As She’s Walking Away,” which teams him with the Zac Brown Band. unQuote..

Beth Hi!
I'm not sure anyone would want to see me dance. My husband was good at line dancing at his corp Holiday events but Not sure about myself, I'm Great at falling ha! There was a girl who owned a dress shop named Barbara,on here that shot the original "Good Time" dance for the video. She hasn't posted for a while or like myself, a new name. I wish I knew, she could do this. I did get an invitation to try it then, along w/other Fans. Hey Sue could do it, she's pretty, and smaller than myself. I'm really tall or Terry could..I wish someone on here would give it a try..Jerrie-MS

You are right it was Nan, I had forgotten her name. She did great! Just love that GE Video , I just heard it on Fox , just now lol. It's often on Jay Leno show too! I wish someone would try, from here on the board, that is neat.I like the cowboy, he does all the moves correctly and looks like he really enjoys dancing..I voted for the Top 12 --Peter the Cowboy. He seems to be into the dance more and really does great! I am hoping he wins.. The girls get some of the moves wrong..
