I found out today that you can purchase parking tickets through Ticketek. You have to state WHICH car you'll be parking and it costs about $20AUD plus about $7AUD for Ticketek to arrange parking. There's a height limit of 2 metres, so mini buses are out! Blast it all! We HAD arranged to travel down in a mini bus.
So .... if you don't think your tickets were expensive enough you'll be pleased to know you can outlay another $27.
It's possible tickets may sell out before the night of the concert so you may be taking a looooooong walk if you don't arrange parking tickets ahead of time.

Congrats to ALL of you getting to see Alan in SYDNEY!!! You will enjoy Alan I'm sure. He is Great!
and worth the price! we have seen him in casinos and where there wasn't Fan Clubs seats and we really enjoyed it!
Seeing & meeting him was Heaven! He is so super nice and handsome too! I hope he comes to FL soon as it's warm!

Yes, I'm fine thanks. Sadly I don't get to post too often these days. There's been lots happening in our lives and I just don't seem to get as much computer time as I used to. By the time I respond to emails I've received I'm out of time. I miss chatting with you all here. I think of you all a great deal. I'm so excited that Okiejacksonfan (I think that's the name she posts under these days) and her husband are coming to stay with us and we're all going to see Alan together. So, not only do I get to see Alan at last but I get to see my cyber buddy face to face as well! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!
We're counting the days now. I was pretty excited to discover one of my new workmates is going to see Alan in Sydney too. And one of the ladies who works in my local supermarket is going to the concert as well. Local Alan fans are coming out of the woodwork now!

Hi all, I Organised parking for the concert and you dont need to specify the car that you will be parking there. I'm happy to pay the additional booking fee as it saves struggling to find a park and you dont have to line up to pay after the concert - those lines are hectic!! Heres a link to the parking options available. You can also call ticketek and reserve a handicapped space if required - there are only 179 of these available though in P1 and they will give you a discount off the parking. They also do reservations for minibuses! Hey dee i never thought of parking never been to acer b 4 ,we never have problems with parking in melbourne so didnt event think it would b a problem ,i will send u a email and talk about cacthing up cant wait not long now

Hi again,
We'll be in Section A Row 4. Are you serious about not having to give number plate and also space for minivans? Hubby is going to be hopping mad when he finds that out as he was told the opposite, so cancelled the minibus he had booked to drive us all down in. (Not happy Jan!!!!!!!!!)
THIS TIME NEXT WEEK WE'LL ALL BE ON OUR WAY TO SEE ALAN, I GUESS! YEE HAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I booked parking for my car and didn't need to give out the numberplate details. I also know people going in a minibus that organised it through the phone number.
Well I'm sitting in Section B Row 3.
Not long to go now!!!!

It seems like they charge for parking not matter what country you are in. I agree though...the concert will be worth the cost. Everyone enjoy "the man". He's the best!

OK, Jedda, pirate_anne, Kalah and wye72 .... more information please? What seats are you all in? Got yours Jedda, but what about you others? We'll be in Section A, Row 4, seats 6-9. (Okiejacksonfan, her hubby and mine.)
We'll al have to watch out for each other. Actually Nan (Okiejacksonfan) is really unwell at the moment. She was supposed to be in the air right now, on her way over but took sick and ended up postponing her flight by 24 hours. Praying she'll be OK to travel tomorrow. Poor girl. She's having a really rough time of it.
I told hubby about the parking for minivans but he said he DID find it but it was further to walk. Just as well he didn't do that after all. With Nan not being so well it's better if she doesn't have quite so far to walk.
