Does this mean new record label or publicist?  Don't understand.

I took it to mean publicist.  I know it isn't popular but I'd still like to see him go with Toby - he could be his own boss on what gets released. Did you see the thing about Joe Nichols wanting to release Who are you when I'm not looking and the big shots said no - now it is a hit for Blake. I think the artist should have more say and Toby gives them that.

Gayle, you are right. Toby puts a premium on artistic freedom.

This may be a good move on Alan's Part. publicity representation is so Important. Wasn't he with the William Morris Agency or used to be called that? Maybe I have that wrong, not sure. Also a good Fan base is Important..and Interaction w/His audience! Alan has that covered now and Fans really latch on to his every word..They love the Band members too.
I have often thought that Alan needs more Publicity, this sounds good to me. I remember a Man behind me in Tupelo , MS Bank C..Arena yelled out to Alan" Sing  "Meat and Potato Man". I told the gentleman, "I don't think Alan can hear you." I had not heard that Song before, but it is one of Alan's. LOL, It's on the "When Somebody Loves you" I had looked that one over.
Cute song, however. This one did not have  a video back when, but the one they did with it on U Tube is cute, sorta. ha!
MS Likes Alan's older work but to keep up with the times, I feel Alan mixes it all in well. He is a Professional at it..Years of doing it.
Now Alan may have  a Great second  run of Hits, Would Love that for him! He deserves so much more from Nashville and I'm
thinking, they do not realize what a talent they have near..He has quietly managed to remain a Great Country Artist!
Thanks for the News, January!

January, I read that about Joe too.  and I like his version better than Blakes.
As for our Alan, I hope this new publicist will convince him to do more new photo shoots and smile for the camera.

They probably gave it to Blake as He & Miranda were dating & it fit Him. I think Jo has a great voice & seems more sincere
about his career now. Great Voice  & looks nice.

Becky,
I was just reading this in my Country Club Email & thought you all might enjoy Alan, He is so funny here! Love It!

This made us laugh, after having met Alan, I can just see him teasing, saying this. wayyyy Funny..Hope it works!

It's the Video  http://nashvillecountryclub.com/News.php?id=1578

Alan explained above this.

Gayle thank you for that info. I think it would be great if ALAN picked his own songs.   Thank you Jeri for that link, I could watch and listen to him all day.   Take Care   nelle

I so agree with you Jeri.  Have felt for a long time that Alan needed so much more exposure.   We need to see and hear him often and to grow the fan base.    Recall on an interview that Alan said he and the label discussed a certain song to release, he felt one certain song and they felt another and so they released ? and it turned out to be the right one.  Who was right I do not know.  Therefore, he has had input into releases and I sure wish he would release more than two or three from one CD.   He also said that he listened to old songs from older CD's and thought some were certainly great songs.   Would love to see an album of songs like Dallas, Yesteryear, There Ya Go, etc.   So looking forward to seeing more of Alan anywhere and especially touring in the northwest.....Please Alan.
