Hello everybody,

Terry, thanks God you weren't hurt by the accident. Sorry about the suburban. I know him and it's a "tank" and he can be repaired ... maybe he saved your life?
Congrats to Sara.
We planed another US trip when Nina is retired in two years.

Jerrie, i love Ronnie's Single. Can't wait for his album.
Have you any idea what Kix's doing this time?

Harriet, i hope that your toe problems are healing soon. And that you stay in good health for the rest of the year.

We've got some nice sunny days the last time. I know it's still winter but all we've got they can't take it away.
Next weekend the cycling season start for me and in two weeks the races in Belgium. Every weekend two races on tv. So you don't hear me complain.

Hughs to everyone and
HAPPY VALENTINE ...

It's a beautiful, sunny day here!  I just got back from Target and it was 45deg - all the snow is melting!  Hooray!  Supposed to be 60deg by Friday.  As the saying goes about Chicago weather, if you don't like - wait a minute it will change.    I don't know if all the snow will melt away, but a good portion of it will be gone.

So happy about the Grammy win for Alan & ZBB.  So deserved!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

Jean/B all I have heard from Kix Brooks is he has been on tour some, but he is also a grape farmer, as I call him.. he is part owner of a vinyard in Nashville. I partake of this a Bit, ha! also I have seen  That" Kix Brooks from lining up tour dates for next year. It’ll be a different kind of tour though. Instead of performing, Brooks will take his nationally syndicated American Country Countdown to various radio affiliates across the country to broadcast from their studios. He’ll also host the American Country Countdown Concert Series, which will be “live shows featuring an array of established Country artists as well as talented newcomers.” (via CMT)Unquote. He is on the board at CMT.. He spent before Christmas
visiting the troops w/the USO.I also heard he was in a movie role, I'm sure he is busy.. I hope you get to come to the USA after your wife retires. Times passes fast, two years flies for us ha!.Enjoy your Races! Also to Kathy & Everyone here, Happy Valentine's Day! also God Bless, Jerrie-MS

Hello again, AJ Friends. I'm doing fairly well & hope all of you are OK. Having problems again with my temporary partial of my upper teeth- it fell out last night & I managed to get it back up in there & will have to eat soft foods & be careful until the implant specialist can cement it on Friday. Hope to start the process soon of getting the permanent crowns over the implants.
I watched the Grammys with mixed feelings. Very proud of Alan & ZBB & Miranda & all the country winners but some of the performers in other genres were way over the top.
Our weather is beautiful- sunny & in the 60's. This is a welcome change from all the cold we were having.

Elaine- Target is the nicest of the discount stores- at least around here. Hope you like it.

Nelle- So pleased you will get to see Alan. You will enjoy it, I am sure. He has quite a tour planned for next year.

Sherry- The rodeo sounds like fun.

Jeri- Thanks for the info on Kix Brooks. I've always liked him. And plan to support Ronnie's solo career. He is one of my favorite vocalists with his incredible voice.

JeanB- My toe is healing but it requires a bulky dressing so I have to wear a sock & one of hubby's sandals when I go out.Not exactly a fashion statement.lol

Kathy- Glad your weather has improved. I am once again looking forward to baseball season.

Dizzy- Glad you're having great weather in Florida.

Love to All.

Oh Harriet, so sorry about your problem, when it rains it pours, doesn't it..so sorry..

Harriet, you were speaking of Ronnie Dunn, I tget tweets from Ronnie and love his from the  heart Voice. I was frankly
mesmerized once by his singing, we had close seats and he did "Believe" I have to say his voice was so great & comes from the heart....Just his way, his look is so addictive, looking at him..They did a special tribute to the military too w/Military guys from the Base..and it nearly got to my Husband who served in war..He did" My Maria" and I loved that one too! He is like Alan, no big show to move around too much, but you have fun listening. His Voice is Incredible, as you said..
He will do great solo. he tweeted me that his next one would be out soon..and he is doing something w/Sara Evans.
Take care to all, it's late.. Jerrie-MS PS- Nelle enjoy seeing Alan and congrats again!!! You will love it!

Morning y'all.

Sorry to hear about your teeth problems Harriet.  I had to go to the dentist Tues. to have a crown recemented in.  It had been lose for a while and I was afraid it would fall out.  Then the dentist had to give me a shot cause it was hard to loosen.  But he fixed it.  I chew a lot of gum and love jelled candies.  Which is not good for my teeth!

Elaine, when is the Target store gonna open?  We have one in Spartanburg.  I go to Walmart more because it's closer.  I like Target and they have some good sales.

JeanB, are you planning on going to any of the AJ shows in Norway?

Sharon sometime in Sept the Target is suppose
to open. I am only about six blocks from
Wal mart and will only be about the same from
Target.
The sun is out but it doesn't feel that warm because
we have wind.

Hi everybody,
Jerrie, thanks for the info about Kix. He's a busy man.

Sharon, No i don't go to see Alan. My wife can't take off at work and the trip and the stay in Norway are much too expensive.

Maybe you all saw it on tv : Belgium have the world record of the country without a governement . 250 DAYS !!! Whaw !!! We took the record from Irak. Congratulations stupid Belgian politicians. All that for a language question. French - Dutch.
Thanks God the economy don't suffer about it.

I just renewed my fanclub membership.

Enjoy the weekend everybody.

HI FRIENDS, HOPE YOU ALL ARE READY FOR SPRING...ITS JUST AROUND THE CORNER (THEY TELL ME).  TODAY IT IS CLOUDY, WINDY...AND I AM SO HOPING FOR SOME RAIN HERE IN THE DESERT, SO FAR I HAVE COUNTED ABOUT A HALF DOZEN DROPS ON MY WINDOWS, C'MON MAMA NATURE, YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!!

HARRIET, I DO HOPE YOU WILL SOON BE COMPLETELY MENDED, FROM TEETH TO YOUR SORE TOE, NO FUN AT ALL.  YOU ARE A YOUNGSTER COMPARED TO ME, AND EVERY MORNING I WAKE UP AND WONDER..."WELL, WHAT'S WORKING TODAY, ARE ALL THE PARTS MOVING???  SOMETIMES YES, SOMETIMES NO!

I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE BASEBALL SEASON, SOME TEAMS ARE HERE FOR SPRING TRAINING, BUT OF COURSE MY BOYS, THE TWINS, TRAIN IN FLORIDA.  I WILL SIGN UP FOR THE MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PKG ON TV SOON, DON'T WANT TO MISS A PITCH OR A HIT

NICE TO HEAR ABOUT THE RONNIE DUNN CONCERT, HE IS AN AMAZING SINGER, AND HIS "I BELIEVE" VIDEO IS AN ALL TIME GREAT.  I ALWAYS ESPECIALLY ENJOYED KIX BROOKS INTERVIEWS, A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR.  I WISH BOTH OF THEM THE VERY BEST.

GUESS WHAT?  MY NIECE LAURIE,  WHO LIVES IN DOOR COUNTY, WI, CALLED AND SAID, "AUNT JEAN, I'M CALLING TO INVITE YOU TO A WEDDING.." I WAS STUNNED FOR A MOMENT BECAUSE I COULDN'T THINK WHO WOULD BE GETTING MARRIED, AND THEN SHE SAID "WILL AND KATE!" PRINCE WILLIAM AND HIS KATE OF COURSE.  SHE SAID "WE'LL GET UP AT 4AM, WATCH ALL THE FESTIVITIES, TAKE A NAP LATER ON, AND GO OUT TO AN ENGLISH LODGE FOR DINNER".  NOW I ASK YOU, IS THAT A "WEDDING PLANNER" OR WHAT?  AND..I WON'T HAVE TO WEAR A FANCY DRESS AND SHOES THAT HURT, EITHER. WE'LL BE ALL COMFY FRONT ROW CENTER IN ROBES AND SLIPPERS.  WE BOTH LOVE STUFF LIKE THAT, HOPEFULLY A HAPPY GRAND OCCASION.  AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, IT WILL BE CHERRY BLOSSOM TIME IN DOOR COUNTY, TOO. ITS TIME FOR SOME LOVELY NEWS FOR A CHANGE, ISN'T IT.   HER DEAR HUSBAND STEVE WILL PROBABLY SLEEP THRU IT ALL, BLESS HIS MALE HEART.  BUT WE WILL HAVE A GRAND "GIRL TIME".  I WILL GET MY TRAVEL PLANS IN ORDER SOON.  AND ANOTHER GREAT AND HAPPY MILESTONE IN MAY, WHEN MY GRANDSON QUINN GRADUATES FROM HIGH SCHOOL, IN SOUTH DAKOTA, AND HEADS FOR COLLEGE.  WHERE DOES THE TIME GO??  THEN..IN SEPTEMBER, GRANDSON JAKE WILL BE GETTING MARRIED TO HIS LADY LIZ.  I WILL SURELY HAVE TO TAKE PLENTY OF VITAMINS!!!

I HOPE YOU EACH AND ALL HAVE SOME HAPPY PLANS IN THE MAKING.  AND KEEP WELL AND WARM EVERY DAY,

It's been a beautiful couple of days with the sun shining and the snow melting.   But, all that will change tonight.  Another storm is headed our way with snow, sleet, rain, freezing rain - you name it, we'll be getting it.   More snow Northern Illinois / Southern Wisconsin (that's me!) and more rain further South of Chicago.  According the the Weather Channel we will be getting another 4-5 inches of snow before it's all over Monday night.   YUCK!!!  Once again I plan on watching it from the comfort of my living room!

Had my teeth cleaned this morning and all is well with my teeth & gums.   Followed it up with a big, fat cheeseburger & fries from Five Guys.  Have any of you ever eaten at a Five Guys?   Great hamburgers and excellent fries!  Don't do that too often, but went out with my sons and friends - we all were moaning when we were done.   Great time!

JeanAZ - have fun at your wedding party in Door County!   I only live 3 1/2 hours from Door County and you get there more often than I do!   LOL!

I'm with you - can't wait for baseball.  The Cubs just announced that Keith Moreland (a former Cub player) will be the new Cubs radio color commentator - taking the job left by Ron Santo's passing.   Ron will be sorely missed, but from what I've heard Keith will do a good job and he has the great Pat Hughes to sit beside him in the broadcast booth.

Have a good rest of the weekend and stay safe!
