ZBB is also nominated for Best Album and Best Vocal Group awards. And once again, GS is a nominee for Best Vocal Male award but Alan's name is nowhere to be seen on the list of nominees in that category. And will they ever nominate Alan in the Entertainer of the Year category and let him win it? He so richly deserved that for so many years now and the ACM folks just continously refused to give it to him. Sorry, about the rant. This has just annoyed me year after year.

I don't think Alan will ever take Entertainer of the Year - I love him and I love to go see him but his show is really tame comapred to some others and that is what gets the awards. This stuff is pretty political too and I don't think the tall handsome blonde country music superstar who needs to lose his razor when he comes to Toledo plays that game. He will always be MY entertainer of the year!

Alan is nominated That makes me so Happy!.. I saw Zac Brown Band and they are definitely a very talented group of Guys. Alan likes Zac too
and was glad they asked him to be on this one.GA Guys are great! Zac Brown has great talent and his band is multi talented. Just a great group for Alan to enjoy working with on this one..It helped them get more notice too, but they
were already a HIT!
I know Alan deserves many Awards, more than he gets, but he had a long run, for a long time. I wish him many More Huge Awards in his Upcoming work! He is to me, The Best In Country Music.Overall, considering talent, voice, his unpretentious way, his Style.. His staying power..I could go on & on, plus he Loves Family and is very down to earth, which is charming.
He has a lot going for him now w/label change and world Touring, Plus-new Publicist which I have always thought would be Great for him "to change things up a bit." Good Luck to Alan on Any Awards he might get in the future and

January, I totally disagree. I think it might just happen that Alan could take Entertainer of the Year sometime in the Future.
Especially after touring and being so well known worldwide. The show doesn't count to me as much as the talent. Alan is a Great Singer /Songwriter. who knows what Alan has in store for His Music or perhaps movies or commercials ha! I see that
commercial of his a LOT now on every station and it's a great one. I will never click this one off. The other part w/the elephant is so darling too!
I don't care for a lot of hoopla, I listen to his Voice,His music and his interaction with his audience.I never liked the hoopla, even when younger, I go to hear His Music and see Him..Love To Alan and that Someday win could be near, who knows..I admire his work and his staying power. The Band is Great too! Congrats on the Nomination Alan! It's a Winner!So is Alan!

Alan has won ETOY at the CMA's at least 3 times that I can think of but I guess he's never won it at the ACM's.

Harriet, Thanks for posting this! I like to think Positive. I think that Alan has far to go in his career and it could happen on the ACM's if they count Talent & Contributions!
