me too Sue . I used to make all kinds of cakes. My Mom made the best fresh coconut cake and German chocolate cake.I loved her carmel icing cake with a white cake in layers. Now I make mostly pies , my teens eat fruit ha! I love my Keylime Pie made w/fresh key limes from FL. also I make great Peanut butter Pie that the "Sisters" restaurant used to make.
Love Lemon Icebox pie. Hey! I'm getting hungry. Smiley
Sue I was in Nashville at the Ryman and someone held up a sign saying to Alan, "Happy_ Birthday !" He took it and smiled..
we were sitting on row two and right by the musicians, that mark is so cute and so is monty, well Roger and the rest too!

Strange when we moved here I wanted to make cakes my Mom made but hubby discouraged it, I'm no artsy decorator but hubby could put swawns around each piece served , he is great at art..At My sister's Fifty Anniversary, they had each piece served with art, in colored icing. Mine had  a swan, hubby's a music note. It should have been a squirrel, as nutty as he is LOL. Thanks for the link.. nice cakes. Sue maybe they could ship an overnight wedding cake , some do..
