One of the things I've always liked about Alan and that impresses me about him is his graciousness towards others. I used to think that it's maybe because he can afford to do it. But after knowing somewhat what kind of person he is, being a fan of his for so many years, my thinking now is that probably even if he can't afford to do it that he will still try hard somehow to be able to do it to those he feels is deserving of it and or in need of it. Here are couple more of links to the story:

Great Surprise!

Thanks for the links. This was great of Alan. I'm sure Alan really enjoyed doing this Song with The Zac Brown Band. He sure
seemed to enjoy it in the Video..
Zac will never forget this moment and Gift..Singers do admire one another for their work, I'm sure. I have heard Zac Brown Band several times now and I can tell they have talent. Zac has such a smooth voice and a sweet seeming guy. The Band is awesome. Love that Fiddle player.. but all of them are equally talented..
The young people really hung around the stage with Zac Brown Playing.

Alan doesn't appear to have any ego problems at all. in person he seems so super nice and a great sense of humor too!
He doesn't seem like the type guy, to like Guys with Big ego's but know who they are, and not be pretentous.

My son saw Alan drive an old vintage car into Franklin once, when his wife worked in the print shop there. He said he just drove up and this tall lanky guy got out. It was Alan in that white chevy convertable , I think it was.. maybe the one in the Video of the making of "Good Time" that denise drove up in. They looked out the window of the business and didn't bother him..he may not can do this now, since his huge success.

Just getting to meet Alan, you get the sense he is a very nice person and super nice when talking, he tries to make you feel comfortable. I was in awe of Him, after years of loving his work..He just talked to me like he was talking to someone he knew and I did likewise..No "putting on airs", as Mom used to say ha! I'm very proud to be a Country Girl, this doesn't mean my parents neglected to enforce good moral habits w/me and manners. Also we had to use correct English, and no foul language. Not all Country Girls are tough and they don't have to be, just be themselves..My husband called me "His Southern belle" LOL  I still have a southern accent but I know they come in all types..

Those GA Guys are great Singers!
Zac will remember this forever..Getting a car from this Legend of Country Music..ALAN JACKSON

Alan Jackson should be Inducted into the Hall Of Fame, Nashville.. He is young , to me but he would be proud  I'm sure.
Love Alan's Voice!

I wish Alan would do an album of All the Great Songs he did, that didn't get much airplay . So many Great Songs!

What an awesome gesture by Alan to Zac. I love it. Typical, generous, thoughtful, Alan! Wish I could have seen the concert and them both together singing this hit. Loved the articles. Thanks for sharing.
