osli hi!
I will have to check with my relatives in Sweden to see if Alan is near them, They love Country music & Nashville!
we had to use our translator to read her card but nice to get one from Vara. do you know if this is near where Alan will be? I will have to call her..or write if it's not too soon. she speaks good English. She has a home in the Country and an apartment in the city. My son & his wife loved it there! They rented a car and drove all over, on the opposite side for our Rds for autos, which seemed weird ha! So glad Alan will be there maybe our AJ friends in Norway that visited Alan will see him again.Sue, the ones you and Dizzy met, we didn't get to St. Augustine early enough.The newly weds remember.Samantha & hubby! I hope they get to see Alan Again..

Hi Jeri_MS,
Vara is about 170 miles up the road in direction Stockholm. It will take about three and a half hour to get there by car.
My wife, daughter and me have already got the tickets for the concert the 13.August 2011. The concert will be held just a few miles from where I live. This is the third time my wife and I are at his concerts. First time was in Bergen, August 2009. The second time was last September in Minot ND. We are all looking forward to this concert with high expectations.

Expecting at least 20 000 people at Forus. This will be fun. Have asked the managment if the could get Alan to play "A house with no curtains". It's my favorite.

"The first band performing as Special Guest and who also will be opening for Alan Jacksons concerts in Scandinavia will be presented at a meeting in Nashville on the 26th of February, 2011. It will be an american band. They have won great awards and were recently nominated to yet another great price 2011 at the ACM awards- Academy of Country Music. The artists nominated will receive their Awards at a grand Country Gala in Las Vegas, Sunday April 3rd. "

I hope you enjoy Joey & Rory.. They have played near our home in MS but I have yet to catch them . They sound good on radio and are getting more popular here. This will be a huge boost to their career, working with the man Alan Jackson! Enjoy the concert! |

There are now only 100 days left to Alan Jackson's concert in Stavanger. This concert will be twice as large as the other two in Scandinavia. My guess is that there are over 20,000 spectators.
