Harriet,

Here locally near Jax, they are playing more of Zac Brown Band w/Alan "As She's Walking Away." I haven't heard "Ring of Fire" once locally and it makes me angry after requesting it so much..I think there has to be an oder the DJ play them in , perhaps different locals..maybe later..I keep hoping.. I did hear "It' Just That Way" the other day and I hope they dwell
on his latest hits Album more soon. I Request & my DJ's are excellent to play for me..@ 999 Gator Country WGNE.
Thanks for the Updates! Take care!

Jeri, nobody played Ring of Fire. It did not go anywhere on the charts, not even on Mediabase. I really believe his record label did not promote his songs from his last 2 albums. I hope he finds a new label soon.

Harriet,Thanks!

I vote on my local radio station for Alan, so I put Zac Brown Band's name on also. I did see "Ring Of Fire" played On these stations and still plays on some but not well enough;
KSOK-WKKO-WKHX-KHAK-KQFC-KSCS-WTQR and a few more. The DJ can play it if he wants.Maybe Alan uses his own record Company or either this was done before the deal with his x-company ran out. not sure.

Glad to hear some stations played it. Not enough stations played it for it to go anywhere on the charts. The Atlanta stations did not play it. Songs can't move on the charts unless they get enough airplay.

Some good news. 34 #1's is up 2 to #18 on the Billboard Country Albms Chart.

I don't know how all of it works regarding song playing or promoting, but know Alan's Freight Train CD was phenomenal and should have done better than it did. I am happy his 34 Number 1's is doing okay. I hope whatever label he signs with does him more justice on the new album I read he is working on. I never hear anyone talking about Alan's tour and who he has on tour with him, and how well he does with his concerts. It seems common for radio and TV stations go with the younger, most popular, etc. at that time. I don't know why I worry about it so much, because Alan seems to be happy with where he is at.

I NEVER think of Aj not getting any airtime about ANYHING in regards to his career....
ALL my friends down here are always telling me "Oh I know you've heard that GE commericial".....
Yes ma'am....I mean just think about how many times in our life we have said, "Well did you have a
good time at the family reunion, concert, getting your Botox w/your fav dr., fishing, walking Hybart,
seeing JAMEY JOHNSON 5 times & counting"....... WHAT A hook of a song we've said all our lives!! Good Time...

Just like he said in an interview w/STORMIE(SP), "Everything else is just gravy" or something like that.....

He's concerts are sold out in Australia...great day, I could go on and on!! The only sad part is he didn't decide
to go to Australia in March when I was down there f/2 wks March 2009!

Still #20 this week on Billboard. This album is realy hanging in there in the Top 25. Good songs- that's the reason.
