Hi all.........you all sound very well and Cheerful. It is so uplifting to read it all. I must say Anita Martina you were in my neck of the woods today. I almost went down to the Chriskingle Market. Usually go every year. There is alot of beautiful homemade items by our German residents that live here. Hope you have fun. I am only 10 minutes from there!

Jeri, as far as I know it is on Fox network. I think the delay applies only to the West Coast- tape delayed- they tape it & play it later on the West Coast.

I loved the show. Really enjoyed Alan's performance of a medley of his hits fittingly capped with Where Were You. He really got a big standing ovation too. Thank you, ACA, for this much deserved recognition of Alan.

FRIENDS...HOW PROUD ARE WE!!! ALAN ONCE AGAIN WAS THE CLASS OF THE SHOW, AND GOT AND SO DESERVED THE LONGEST, LOUDEST OVATION. HIS MEDLEY WAS SO GREAT, AND ENDING IT AS HE DID WITH HIS ALWAYS SO FROM THE HEART SINGING OF "WHERE WERE YOU"...THE SONG THAT MADE ME REALLY AWARE OF HIM, AND A LOYAL FAN EVER SINCE. HIS GENTLE HUMANITY IS SO EVIDENT IF ALL HIS MUSIC, AND IN HIS QUIET PERSONALITY. ( I WAS NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED WITH THE STUPID "DUMMY" ROUTINE FOLLOWING IT THO. OUT OF PLACE AND OUT OF STEP.) 79 YRS I MAY BE, BUT I CAN'T WAIT TO RENEW MY MEMBERSHIP, PROUDLY. GOD BLESS YOU, ALAN!!

Alan was fabulous last night. He deserved that award. I am so proud of him. His medley of songs was a great idea for winning that award and ending with "Where Were You". WOW. Well deserved Alan.

Hello Friends,
Anita, was it the Christmas Store in Titisee - Germany? I visited the store last summer. Very beautiful stuff in there !
Gwen, Germans are "THE" exsperts in Christmas Markets. Love the "wurst" and "gluwein". And Christmas decorations are by the beautifulesd in the world.
Elaine, congrats and good luck with your new computer. Is he so fast as Jean's (Az)? If yes ... fasten seatbelts too ! lol.
We go to the Brussels Christmas Market this afternoon. The snow is gone, except in the Ardennes, drizzling a litle but mild temparture. Tomorrow we go visit friends on the Belgian coast and like every "real" Belgian a restaurant, two or three hours, is provided.
Have a nice weekend evereybody.
Jean

Hello, AJ Friends. Hope all of you are enjoying the holidays. Looking forward to my family Christmas party on Sunday the 19th. It will be good to see everybody. Feeling better each day- still trying to build up my strength & endurance. We are expecting some snow Sunday & Monday & extremely cold temperatures- down to 12 1 night this week. That's Farenheit I have some warm sweaters & a very warm coat ready to protect me from this unseasonal Arctic cold.
JeanB- You don't have snow now? And we will be getting it- the weather is weird these days.
Elaine- Glad you have the new computer. Do you like it better than the old one? Congrats to Kelsey on her athletic accomplishments.
Anita-wasn't it great to see all the other artists singing along to Alan's songs. Enjoy your birthday.
Sharon- I really enjoyed that ACA Awards show too. It was fun. The critics that didn't like it need to relax & get a life.
Jean-AZ-It was really heartwarming to see Alan get that long ovation at the ACA Awards.
Jeri- hope you are feeling better these days.
Love to All.

Jean, We did go to the store in Titisee, Germany. They had alot of beautiful things. But we went to a small village called Rothenburg de Tauber on the Romantic Road. They have two Christmas stores. They had lots of Christmas decorations too.
Gwen, I thought you lived near Orillia. I was very disappointed in the Germany Christmas Festival in Kitchener. This was the first year I went. Someone mentioned to me that it was really good. Well, I found out later, they had one in Toronto on the same weekend. Most of the vendors went to that instead, so there wasn't that many at the one in Kitchener.
HariAJfan - That was really great watching artists singing along with Alan. He is the best.
The weather here today is suppose to be miserable. Lots of snow expected in many parts of Ontario, except were we live. Along Lake Ontario, we look like we are going to get the mix of rain & freezing rain. Right now, it is raining.
