You would think Alan's Hometown Radio Stations would play Ring of Fire bt they're not playing it. I think they wait for it to get higher on Mediabase but if stations would play it it would get higher. It's the whole chicken & egg dilemma.
I request it every day on both stations though. If they get enough requests they will feel the pressure to play it so don't give up, my friends.

I love Alan's rendition of the song and play it at my favorite watering hole, "The Sugar Shack", whenever I get the chance. I have heard it on the Indy radion stations too...and am requesting also. Happy New Year everyone!

Ring of Fire is #50 on today's Billboard Country Songs chart. That's the wrong direction.
Are you hearing this song on the radio? I'm not hearing it in Atlanta.

I can see only the Top 50 on Mediabase & Ring of Fire has dropped below that. Also not seeing radio adds. Very sad- this is a great song & a great way to honor Johnny Cash.
