Due to an upper respiratory infection and laryngitis, Alan will be postponing tonight’s show at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH.
More information coming Monday."

A recording on the US Bank Arena’s phone line says the concert will be rescheduled, and a new date will be announced sometime next week. Ticket holders who cannot make it can return the tickets for a full refund. Jackson has been diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and laryngitis. U.S. Bank Arena Officials are working with the artist and his management to reschedule the concert. For more information, call the US Bank Arena at 513-421-4111.

Here I sit in a hotel in KY. Don't know what made me check for anything concert related before we left for the venue. I never do that. Glad I did. Extremely bummed but hoping the big guy is better soon. I feel something coming on myself. I don't care when they reschedule it for....I will be here for it. I have never posted on here from my phone.....can't scroll for mistakes. LOL

Thanks, Beth, for updating the fans here.
Sure do feel for Alan... had that stuff last yr in Oct. and Had to go to the
dr. Hope he doesn't have that cough I had then...it hurt so badly.
Gayle, so sorrrry you had this happen...but good to know you will return
for it when it does happen. I feel so bad for the fans!!!

I have loved Alan Jackson's music for many years and always been a fan! Have never had the opportunity to go to one of his concerts til now, and the poor fellow is sick, but I will be waiting to hear when its rescheduled! Can't wait, Please get well soon Alan and hope its nothing serious!

I did go to the venue and come back to hotel. I looked at the tour schedule this afternoon.... but it must have been right before any notification was posted. Oh well.
Hope Alan feels better soon.

guess I'm the lucky one tonight. I'm still recovering from ankle surgery and on crutches. we had decided not to go and were going to lose the money on those tickets and the wonderful opportunity to see Alan. but now I will be able to go at the rescheduled time.
Poor Alan, get well soon gorgeous Georgia boy!

So sorry to hear that Alan is ill. He must be very sick to cancel a concert. He never gets sick. Hope you feel better real soon Alan.
I'm sorry for those fans already there or who went there, but at least it wasn't just canceled, it was postponed so you will still get the concert in the future. I'm sure Alan feels horrible about having to cancel for tonight, he does love his fans and treats them very good.

My friends and I arrived around 5pm at the arena and saw Alan's semis's - drove around the entire venue, then pulled in where it said "PASSES ONLY" and talked to a real nice lady who gave us the news. She said the stage was all set up and everything. The caterers had just put food in the ovens and were instructed to give it to the homeless shelter....how nice. We had just drove 2 hours from Indy. Anyway, we took a couple of pictures and walked over to the box office where we were told they were not giving out tickets to those of us who got them through the fan club. So back in the car and back to Indy. It was a fun trip but such a let down. I felt like crying all night.....just hope Alan gets better. Just waiting to hear when it will be rescheduled.

For those of you who were planning to attend, I'm sorry it was postponed. Like Terry said, it wasn't canceled, just postponed. I hope each of you will be able to attend the rescheduled show.
