I saw it live and loved it when Alan walked out and the crowd roared.  It seemed he and Zac had a great time with the song that night too.

Gwen,

You lucky girl. I thought this weekend I would finally get to meet him. The show is tomorrow and I have NOT received an email from Cindy, so I guess not. Maybe next time. At least I get to see him at the concert.

I enjoyed the performance by The Zac Brown Band and Alan. It was to me, the BEST part of the whole show!

The Band Perry is great and they will no doubt do even better in the furture.. Loved Miranda's win and Blakes too.

Always love it when you know someone really appreciates a win, Like Brad..

Reba's words were uncalled for, I wont repeat them. Her Singing a Beyonce Song freaked me out..

Alan is keeing it country and still expanding his work! His voice seems to improve as time goes by and  I love his new rendition of "Ring Of Fire! Wonderful.. a new Christmas Song would be nice!
I have requested Let it be Christmas so much the DJ, a Lady said"Wow we were looking at songs by different people to play on radio and Alan Jackson has quiet a list!" He has songs never played on radio, that are GREAT!

I hope the CMA's will feature Alan more next Year. He should get a Special Award.. he should get lots of awards  now while he can enjoy them.

It's Hard to believe Little Jimmy Dickens is just now getting his and has spent a lifetime in the Ryman .Still enjoy his quirky jokes and so glad we still have him! God Bless him!

Jeri...I agree with the radio DJ you talked to. On our drive over to Cincinnati Saturday, I had one AJ CD after another playing in my car....we had fun going there, and then coming right back home. He has so many amazing songs that were never released as singles. No one at home believed us when we called to tell them he was sick and the concert was postponed. He certainly does not get the recognition he deserves any more.

I would love to know what words Reba said that you thought were uncalled for. I must have missed that. My husband adores her and so do I. Her and George are coming to Indianapolis Feb. 17 but tickets are not on sale yet. I thought her singing the Beyonce song was bizarre but I thought she did okay with it.

Anyway....country music has certainly changed a lot lately.
