That's great news...wonder why no other single from Freight Train though? Don't the artists usually release 3 or more from each CD? I'll settle for anything Alan though! Thanks for letting us know.

Brenda - good question about Freight Train. Probably because the first 2 didn't do so well and because he is done with them so why support him. Maybe a really good thing he is done with Arista - at least I hope he didn't re-sign. I'd like to see him be his own man musically - he has a label of his own.

that's because 34 number 1's is his last commitment to them I think. All of the songs on it were recorded while he was with Arista which makes them their proiperty. I have heard that a lot of record companiews squeeze out a greatest hits when the singer leaves the label - an extra shot at the last of the income....

Excellent recording. A little different sound to the musical beat I thought, done so well and as we know The Strayhorns pull off these great feats. Lee Ann was strong and clear and Alan did a terrific job. We do not expect anything else. Ha.Ha. I had hoped for another Freight Train release, but would love another album. Just keep cranking them out Alan.

I like this version of 'Ring of Fire'! Love the original, but I think it's great that AJ did it his own way. Love, love, love his voice and Lee Ann is an extra added treat! Hope they do more collaborations - they could become the new Conway & Loretta!
