Yes it is his beautiful voice.  HE sings from his heart and soul like none other. I am a fan since the beginning and there is not one song I do not love. I have his cds and dvds that I must be wearing out since they are the only ones I listen to over and over again. I really love LIVIN ON LOVE AND thank him for WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE WORLD STOPPED TURINNG.  IT happen way to close to home for me.        You are the best ALAN                            nelle

Nelle you said it ALL when you stated "he sings from the heart and soul"..  I bet you even have cassettes like I do too"..  Cassettes, CD's and DVD's....

Every single song Alan sings is a favorite of mine. I love them all, but i would have to say that my fav. is the 1st one i heard when i found Alan,,, and that is  "Tonight I Climbed the Wall". when  i heard that on the radio, i just had to know who that voice belonged to. i could'nt make any sense out of the song, until i listened to it over & over after buying the cassette.( i still have all my cassette's & am still working on replacing them with C D 's.) it finally dawned on me what he meant by "climbing the wall"

My all time favorite has to be Remember When. It just seems as if that is the song of my life. I also really like 7 Bridges Road

Nelle,  I have 3 or 4 VCR tapes of Alan.. A couple I didn't even open.   I'm from the 60's era and I still have the Beatles, Stones, Dillon, Joplin etc.  45's and albums.  Do you remember "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool" by Barbara Mandrell? I've got that one too.. I'm a packrat for sure!

alotaboutlivin      I do remember "I WAS COUNTRY WHEN COUNTRY WASN'T COOL" and it seemed like it was meant for me. this is why when I say that I think ALAN is the greatest I really mean it.  nelle

There is not one song that I dislike of Alan's.  But I do have my favorites and quite a few.  But here are some of them:
Remember When
Here in the Real World
Livin' On Love
Chattahoochee
1976
Where Were You
Five O'Clock Somwehere
Thank God For The Radio
What A Day Yesterday Was
A Woman's Love
Tropical Depression

The one that touches me alot is

Little Man -  This one tells a story that we see happening day to day.  It always breaks my heart when I hear the song or watch the video.

Alan is my number #1 country star and I hope he is around for a long time.
