Due to high demand, a third show has been added to Alan Jackson’s stay in St. John’s, 5th String Entertainment and Mile One Centre announced today.
The third show will be on Thursday, Aug. 12.
Tickets for the Aug. 12 show go on sale Wednesday at noon. Tickets are $128, $113, $98, $82 and $72 including tax, plus surcharge and can be purchased at the Mile One Centre Box Office; by phoning (709) 576-7657, (toll free) at 1-800-361-4595 or online at

Jackson’s first two shows will be on Aug. 10 and 11.
The country star’s latest album is titled “Freight Train.” He’s sold more than 50 million albums and had 34 No. 1 hits — three of those off his last album, 2008’s “Good Time.”
