My bf and I go to concerts together all the time and usually she is the one signed up on the fan clubs for the best tics, etc. We have never encountered a situation where only one person could sit upfront, or go to a M&G. Going to the concert with your best friend is part of the good times. So I find this strange. And I don't see why it would matter if you were both fans either, because you may not both be chosen. What the hay?

the meet and greet is 1 per pl member, don't know why.  but if you win front row tickets I'm pretty sure it's a pair.

Hi!  The M&G is definitely one person, however, the front row give a way is a pair of tickets.  I won some in the
fall!

I would feel honored to get one front row seat.. One M & G per membership or drawing  seems right to me..
Frankly I liked meeting Alan without my husband, it gave me more time to chit chat , well Alan says himself,
"It's Just That Way"
Everyone can't get front row. I have been lucky to get front row in Nashville Grand Ole Opry & close at the Ryman.
Usually the younger ones are up front and frankly , one can see better back a few & it's quieter.Your feet will like it ha!

Thanks everyone for your replies. I understand about leaving your friend in the dust to meet AJ and I am very happy to hear the front row is for two, not that I will win but stranger things have happened.
Thanks again.

Jeri_MS...hi! When were you in the front row at the Grand Ole Opry? Was it September, 2008? I was in the front row too, to see Alan, Darius Rucker debut, etc. It was awesome. We had a great time and hope you did too. I wish he would come back to the Opry, even though Nashville is about 5 hours from Indianapolis. Take care.

Brenda,
Yes! we were so close we could almost touch them. Our son lives near Franklin , so we went there a lot, until my husband got ill. Oh yes! it was a great time that night as you said w/Darius Rucker, Little Big Town, Alan most of all .Phillip of "LBT"  waved to me when I said his name. My husband took the photo.I stood up by the stage to make photos the Lady sitting by the stage told us when to go up where the camera's would not run over us.. I may have seen you. we ate at that restaurant across the street, the Aquarium before the show.  I liked the show, but not te Song "LBT " chose that night..
They have much better ones than the one done. The girls are so sweet.. Karen just had a baby recently. Her husband is Jimi, one of the male Singers in the group. They both have brown hair..they met in college, a few of them.
Alan looked great that night but mostly talking to the younger girls down front.. maybe that was you ha! I'm a bit older .
I love to go to the Ryman & GOO when we can , always some fabulous people there. If I remember right that was Porter Wagoners last performance..Mel Tillis looks great ,and he sang w/Pam his daughter..I was there to mostly see Alan but enjoyed it all. Darius did a good job that night.. It ws  a great Show! I have seen Alan in the GOO, The Ryman, Arena's Casino's & recently my first outdoor Venue at St Augustine, FL..Chris Young opened for him, now his career is taking off.
I really enjoyed getting the M&G the most, in MS. we went to see my Mom and I looked at my Email & we had tickets, I almost missed the show but checked it before we left for the Concert. It was the highlite of my Life, Meeting Alan & talking to him.. Alan is at Nashville every now & then, so maybe he will come back soon there. So agld you enjoyed the show too!
