On firm ground

Cattle Baron's Ball is returning this year to Southfork Ranch, where there are plenty of enclosed party spaces and paved surfaces in the event of biblical rains like those that swamped the last Cattle Baron's at the Star Brand Ranch.

Last week, 2010 Cattle Baron's chairman Kristi Sherrill Hoyl announced that country singer Alan Jackson will headline the Oct. 9 American Cancer Society fundraiser.

Kristi spread the word at a Western-themed party in the Legends Room at Cowboys Stadium sponsored by True North Advisors.

My Mother died w/Cancer in November and my older sister was recently diagnosed & already has had radation.

A Great Cause, The American Cancer Society. I'm so proud of Alan for being the headliner of this!
