A poster here mentioned reading about Alan walking off the CMA during Dixie Chicks/Beyonce performance at the recent CMA Awards show on Facebook and wanting to know if it's true. I have just Googled it and found the article on one of the links below. Sounds true enough for me, but like this poster, I would like to see a video of it and also hear Alan himself address it to fully believe it. It won't surprise me, though, if he really actually did it and I'd say good for him. The show is supposed to celebrate the truest meaning of Country Music and its years of tradition. I was actually really happy and excited watching the show and trying not to believe the rumors that Beyonce is going to be performing there. . .until she showed up on the stage to join the Dixie Chicks, who I'm not exactly a fan of either. My beef on Beyonce performing on the show is not so much as she obviously did't fit in the show but the non-caring disrespect she displayed towards the genre and its people. . . .the fans, artists & songwriters (past and present) and everyone in the country music industry. . . .by not only dressing up indecently but performing on the stage as if she was in her own concert. Absolutely a big disappointment for me.

If it is true that Alan walked off, I am delighted.  They are "indecent" in their dress and have no respect for Country.  They just want to be seen but I have seen too much indecent clothing on her.  Alan is conservative and mannerly and I'm glad he still sticks by his
philosophy.

Thanks for sending the note for all to see.

How are you BIG..................?

Thanks to Alan Jackson & George Strait for "KEEPING IT COUNTRY!". Great Song! Cool
BHR,  i SO AGREE W/you!
Beyonce and  her Type moves, do nothing to represent Good Values for sure. Her "Guy" talks the most disgusting Lingo I have yet to hear, Not my FOR'TE.

Kudos to Alan Jackson , he is a GENTLEMAN who Sings like a Lark & is a Great writer too! He was given a Great voice and he uses it in his Beautiful Songs. Alan did Great with Chris Young in, "There's A New Kid In Town." A Christmas Song, Thanks Alan for showing your many Talents, to share w/Fans!
Keep  up the Great Work Alan!  Kiss

Beyoncé is not even in the same SOCIAL CLASS as Alan, let alone musical class.  She just has no class!

I'm glad Alan stuck to his guns and ignored her.  He is CLASS all the way.  I'm sad that he won't be coming my way on his new tour.
I need The Palace or Casino Windsor with my wheel chair need.  Have not seen Alan since September 5, 2015.  Missing him really bad.

BIGHUSK...........  You always have the latest work.  Thanks for keeping us informed.
Love you
