Just wondering if anyone has heard any new songs from the latest album on the radio. I'm hoping they will release some of the other singles to radio so we can at least try to request them. I would love to hear "You Can Always Come Home."  I truly think it would be a hit. I've been pretty disappointed in country radio lately. You rarely hear Alan and since George Strait has retired, I've noticed our local stations have played less and less of his music. It's a shame too. I'm tired of hearing the same stuff over and over again. Anyways, I sure hope to hear that more singles are going to be released. I will keep sending FB messages, tweeting and calling to request them. Still waiting for a KY or TN concert date. Hope to see a lot of you guys soon!!

I have been listening to the "keeping it country" package which was sent to me by a wonderful girl when I was in the hospital and freshly home.  I have neglected the forum for that reason.  I am missing Alan's music on radio.  I hope he makes the hall of fame this year.
Sorry to be using your space but I'm elderly and don't negotiate these pages well.

I am hoping Alan will come to Michigan at The Palace of Auburn Hills or Casino Windsor when I am well (almost there).
I saw him on September 5, 2015 and it was wonderful.

Love to all the fans I've missed.

Suzanne (AKA  ALANFAN) Hello! Cool It's Jeri from the Days that Dizzy, Sue, Terry and All of us Posted here  Grin
I miss them very much. Sue is still with us hopefully but I do not see her post here, perhaps she is on Facebook or Twitter, I'm not on either..

Not sure if You remember me, but I'm not on here as much recently, due to My health & surgery. Sorry you have also been ill. Best Wishes on your  recovery asap!!!!!!! So glad you at least got to see Alan Sept 5/2015, it's been since "George Jones Birthday"( before his passing Naturally) since I have seen Alan & I'm long overdue..Alan was wonderful at that show & George enjoyed hearing Alan sing his "He Stopped Loving Her Today", so much.. he really got a standing applause!
Later Mrs. Bush (President's wife) was there for"Nancy" George's passing, when Alan sang at his funeral, I think this is right.

Radio only plays some of Alan's here. if he has new Material, they are more likely. I know Alabama plays Alan's Music really well, we go through there on the way to MS or Nashville to see My son, and I can always get Alan on our car radio there.! Love his new Boxed set.."You can Always Come Home" is one of my favorites, but they all are great! Let's keep requesting Alan's Music, it helps some.. I do not like the Direction
Country Music is heading now, it's sad for me & the real Country listeners. Oh well,, Pop is a good start for a career for many,,,,, Huh I just do not get it.. Alan is World Wide now!!!! Shocked I hope to see Him soon myself.
Take care and nice to see you posting again.
Get Well Soon. Jerrie(HomeTown MS)

It has been a long time since I have written on here.  Not sure who is still on here from when I was on here alot.  I see JeriMS is still here.  I am on Facebook but not on Twitter as often, as I find it confusing.  They seem to play alot of Alan's music on our radio station here in Canada.  KX96 in Ontario.    I have just been so busy in my life that I seldom have the time to get on here.   I hope everyone is doing okay.  I haven't been to an Alan concert since I went to Nashville to see him for his 25th Anniversary concert  in October 2014.  He has not had a concert in Ontario, Canada since.  We are waiting for him to come.

I don't listen too much to the big name local stations in my area anymore. They don't play what we the fans wanna hear.I do listen to WNKR-FM 106.7 in Dry ridge KY,or WKID-FM 95.9 in Vevay IN,as far as local stations for me go.They DO play what the fans wanna hear. They play Alan's songs.(WKFI-AM 1090 is another local station that does too,in Wilimington Ohio.I listen to them too.You can get this station in Cincinnati Ohio).

Otherwise,I listen to WSM-AM 650 in Nashville at night.Or I will listen to KRNH (923 the ranch) on line from Kereville TX.They play a lot of Alan's songs.

And I listen to Sirius XM Sattelitte radio too.Plus CD's.

The one your waiting on was announced as a single like a year ago but I guess they never promoted it. Very disappointing considering how good this CD is. I reckon the next single they release Will be a brand new song. Usually he has a new studio album about every two years so this should be the year for some new music

I don't get on this forum as much as I used to either. Seems like country radio in Indiana all but ignores Alan & true country artists. I just keep playing all my CDs & try to watch him on TV when I know he's on. I loved the respect he was shown on the ACM Honors show. Alan did a great job with George's songs & seemed to enjoy himself too. I've still never got to meet him. Not sure why the meet & greets stopped. Safety's a big issue in this country now. It's understandable. I wish everyone well😁

Sorry, to say, not that much here in Jax but I did see Alan's New Gospel advertised on FOX TV I think it was..I have it already and it's GREAT! Songs I Love.

So sorry about the Flood aftermath , it's so sad to see people lose ALL they have but they seem to just be happy to still be here. It will take time for the recovery for sure.
So glad it went around us here in FL> I told my husband I prayed it away..I had this calm & was not scared the wind blew limbs off, but no trees near our Home, thank God! We had them removed the week before the storm and put in bushes away from the House. It was in waves of rain & wind. I hope ALL you AJ Fans who live in FL are ok..Hope Alan's House is ok & they were not in it.I'm sure he has people to care for it..I wanted to go to Nashville, but the streets were lined with traffic due to the storm..

My sister & her hubby went to GA but they got rain there too. They used to live in Fayetteville, near Alan's late "Moma Ruth" . Bless her, she had a long life & seemed so sweet.I still miss my Mom and she passed away, a few Years back. They drove me by the AJ HWY, so nice to see Anything Alan.
I am so happy I found I had some Glen Campbell Music from way back, Love it! He was really talented, played Guitar "For a Frank Sinatra Song" . He had to be good to do that.God Bless him, May he RIP
I listen to music of Alan's I buy it all. Love the old Hymns especially..
Take care AJ Fans  I missed my VIP chance to see Alan at St Augustine.. But there will be other times.
Love the STRAYHORNS too!!!!!!!!!!! Jerrie from (MS HOMETOWN) near Tupelo....

WWBL-FM 106.5 in Vincenns IN also plays Alan's songs.

We have "Willy" stations that play the older stuff. So I hear Alan on there quite a bit.
In the Pittsburgh, PA area I get them @ 103.5 and 95.1
I listen to that mostly because our other so called "country stations" are not country.
I say to myself....."Who thinks Sam Smith is country?"

Have a Great Thanksgiving !!
