 Shocked
My next concert is  AJ at Celebration Virginia in Fredericksburg on August 23.   My daughter, who has a huge CD collection, including many of Alan Jackson's,  will be going with me.   I just saw Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss in Cary, N. C. a few weeks ago.....great concert, but I've  been to 4 of AJ's concerts this year!    They are the best!!!   I'm looking forward to AJ's  25 th anniversary tour......Hope to get to at least one concert.   Also, I hope to make a trip to Nashville in the fall.
Exciting things happening for Alan and his fans....I'm proud to be an Alan Jackson  fan!!!!!!

No concerts in the future.  Almost got tickets for Fredericksburg, VA, but didn't.  My granddaughter is getting married August 16th and I'm really tied up with that, etc.  Also, couldn't get my traveling buddy here in SC to commit and I don't like to travel alone as much as I use to.   Shocked

Music 44: Do you live in NC?  I'm in SC and my daughter and her family live in NC.  I'm familiar with Cary, Oxford, Raleigh, etc!

Hope to see some of you one of these days when AJ decides to come back to South Carolina!

LuckyLady44,

Yes, I'm in NC...Raleigh area....Both my children live in NC.   My husband was from SC.....I know some people in SC  and am familiar with some of the state.  Like you, I wish Alan would come there or come back to NC.....
My sister lives in VA, so I manage to get to some of his concerts there and also visit her.

Weddings can be a BUSY time....Hope all goes well.....

I'm  looking forward to the Fredericksburg concert!

Sharon Congrats on your GD's Marriage! Sounds like you are busy as usual. I remember the stress from my daughter's wedding , my back went out lol..even w/help too.  Sharon I want to see Alan so bad. I wish he would be close soon. it seems since we retired our time is spent helping others or at DR's offices ha I'm getting much better, however. My husband usually drives me to see Alan, he loves to see me Happy ha! I want to go to Nashville to theCMHOF when Alan's time starts..for sure.I told my sister she is getting old enough to put in for the Senior Citizen Visit from Alan, in order to see him. we laughed & laughed! Take care and again Congrats Grand Ma Ma! God Bless, Jeri

I don't have any on my agenda right now. Hoping Alan will be making an appearance at the Opry soon. It's 5 hours from me but about as close as he gets to Indy anymore.

I will have tickets for Alan at Casino Windsor on September 5th.  Puts my blood pressure back where it should be and clears up all my pain and depression.  I love that talented man.  He is just "SPECIAL".

I would love to see Alan in concert but this year he doesn't have any near me.

But I do have tickets to see Travis Tritt and Marty Stuart which are being held very close to where I live, one about 30 miles away and another that is a days drive away---we can drive home afterwards but the one for Travis is being held in a casino where the rooms are $235 a night--we won't be staying there, that is for a King room.We will drive 10 min and stay in a room in a hotel in that city where a King room is $99 and includes a full breakfast.

I am so looking forward to seeing them, tickets are reasonable--one is $40 and the other $45.

If you find the right venue, they have wheel chairs and elevators and will help you to your seat.  Most of the employees at these places are trained to be nice and are nice anyway when they see someone with a handicap.

Don't give up the ship yet my dear.  God can help you and so can Cindy - great advice.  Ask her.  Maybe she has some ideas.

I'll be at the Casino Windsor on September 5th and they have wheelchairs, elevators and escalators.  I don't have good balance but know where the elevators are.  Arthritis is crippling so stairs are out completely.
The hard part is going to the box office on the second floor instead of having your tickets mailed to you.  I'll manage.  My daughter will be with me but I MUST PICK UP MY OWN TICKETS WITH MY ID.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Try Cindy.  It's not over for you yet.

In addition to seeing the awesome Tom Petty in Tampa, Sept. 21, seeing some other faves too, Earth Wind and Fire in Oct. in Fla. Martina McBride at the Ryman in Nov. and Vince Gill in Jacksonville in Feb.

EWF & the Band Chicago was one of my all time fave concerts.

Martina, what can I say, except that I love her!

Vince Gill-  Get outta town with your bad self!  Love, love, love this man!
