Thanks for the info, Beth! WOW! First a special announcement from Alan in the morning and then CMT honoring him that night. Could this be because he's celebrating his 25th year in his country music career this month? This is great!

Jeri

It is on tonight 8EST/7CST on CMT. Red Carpet starts an hour before. It will air again right after according to the TV Guide on my TV. Enjoy. So excited. Alan is so deserving of this special 25 year honor. So glad they are doing it for him.

Alan deserved more than a nod from the interviewer on the Red Carpet.  She just about pushed him out after about 1 minute or less.  Disgraceful!!!

Congratulations to Alan on his Impact Award.  He deserved more time there also.  The young rowdy teenagers had to have their drunken party and Blake Shelton HAD to be sure he got seen!!!!  Don't now what anyone sees in him.

Alan deserved lots more attention and should have been asked to sing. HE was probably happy to get out of that non-mannered rowdy place.  Country Music was not there at all from anyone!!  Too bad it is all gone now.

Can't wait to see Alan at Casino Windsor on September 5th.  At least it will be a refined, tasteful group of people in the audience.  That show was a disgrace.  Were they all drunk?HuhHuhHuh?  Unfortunate don't you think?

I missed the Red Carpet event. I would've been so mad to see him treated like that. That is disgraceful. I was hoping the "honoring" of his 25 years would have been more eventful. Nice that he was acknowledged for it, however.
