Amazing!.  They finally gave an award to Alan!!!!!!!!!!  He deserves many but that Album is wonderful and I play it every day and sometimes 2X a day.  I simply love it.  I've been voting for him on the Golden Boot for the Bluegrass Album there.  He's leading.  I'm trying almost every hour but have to skip some.

Let's get in there and vote for Alan to stay at the top there also.  Voting is open every hour now.

Let's help our friend who is the MOST TALENTED OF ALL!!!!

They played an older Video of Alan's last week from the "Drive" CD, it was wayyyy funny & my husband and I really enjoyed it! "That'd Be Alright". wish I had that Video! Cheesy
I think there are Lots of Alan Jackson Fans All over who miss his work on Radio. Alan is way busy doing
new adventures , lots of Touring & not always here, I'm sure. I am so happy he got this award! Cool
Perhaps Next Year Alan and The StrayHorns can be out among the Fans, and get some Rest.

CONGRATS, ALAN!!!!!! I'm so happy for Alan and so very proud of him and his achievements in his country music career. I hope he continues to make more music and that his music and career continues to flourish. Here's a heart warming article I just read from CMT that beautifully expresses this very sentiment that we all could agree with:

Yee Haw...I am thrilled beyond words.   Missed the first hour of Billboard Awards, due to wrong scheduling by my station and sat through "that" music.   It is hard.   Enjoyed Luke Bryan and others though.

BHR, thank you for the great CMT article.   Know Alan is busy but I miss seeing him out and about.
So versatile and filling his bucket list.   I am truly ready for a regular Alan country album.   Roll Eyes

So proud that Billboard awarded Alan for this great CD.

Congratulations Alan.  I'm looking forward already to a concert with you on September 5, 2014 at Casino Windsor.  Can't wait.  It's at 9pm.  I don't care if it's at Midnight.  I love Alan and would sit up all night relaxing to his beautiful and soothing music.

I was so happy that he won but it should have been presented to him on the stage on TV not in the back somewhere, an award is an award and deserves the same respect that those who don't sing country but are right there in person-lol, now I will get off my soap box.
