I put in for a meet and greet for Alan for April 10 in Tunica, MS and April 11 in Biloxi, MS.  Is everybody notified whether you get one or not?  How soon do they let you know?  I've been checking my email constantly over the past week and nothing...

Hi!
I got mine right before the concert, so don't give up. I got an Email, also since I wasn't home Cindy left a
message on my answering machine( which I will never erase) ha! Lucky for me, my husband took his Laptop
and we were visiting my Mom in MS.we Printed it at the local library to make sure it was for real. It was the greatest Day of My Life!
Good Luck to You!

Thanks...do you know if they let you know you are not chosen, or I just have to hang on and hope I hear something before the concert.  I want to meet Alan so bad and it's killing me not hearing anything yet.

Do like me and just check your Emails up until the concert. It was killing me too, waiting but it was so wonderful getting it like I did . Lucky I was already in MS hehe I think the trip there helped keep my mind off looking for a M & G every day..It is a long wait it seems but well worth it , if one wins! Mine was just a chance of Good Luck...Keep checking your Email , Cindy & the staff have so much to do, they will let you know asap..I will never forget it. I could not speak at first. I saw "Roger" the Strayhorn and said hello first, then I realized Alan was standing there waiting for me to come next lol. why would I ever keep him waiting for little me.. ha I got there suddenly & could not utter a Word! I finally talked and he talked back so kind to me. He has this Huge, quiet presence about him that is so sweet..and comforting..I joked with him
about driving 12 hours to see him,ha! he laughed and said "I appreciate that"I thought maybe I could speak if
I teased him, knowing he has a great sense of humor, someone told me.I had walked from the place we ate and it had made me feel wet on my face, a long walk ha! I sprayed from a small bottle of perfume on me
before going up there, not realizing it was the cheap bottle, Oh my! I know Alan must have thought "she sure uses lots of perfume ha! I tried not to get too close as it bothered me( the smell of my perfume) but I gave up and turned around and put my arm around his waist and stood & had our photo made..I was so embarassed over the cheap perfume..lol..My good smells Great! He really talked to me a while and I can't remember anything, but how handsome he was and not pretentious..and kind..Good Luck to all of you
and I hope you will meet him.If not this time, Don't give up now..I had been to lots of concerts , the Ryman, The GOO, several casino's & was just lucky to get a chance, I will remember it forever..I also shook hands with Monty ( the Strayhorn) he is super nice. Good Luck to all again. Be safe ,
Jerrie from MS originally!( Keep checking your Email)

I don't have a Meet and Greet, but I'm in Memphis tonight and will be going to Tunica tomorrow night for Alan's concert.
Can't wait!  Maybe one day, if I can continue going to his concerts, I'll get a chance to meet him.  He and his music are the best!!!
