Saw this in the news section and wanted to say "Congratulations" to Mr Jackson. Where were you is such a  beautiful song. Thanks for sharing. And how nice that Lee Ann Woamck came in at # 2 with I hope you dance - I think every 14 or 15 year old in the country should be given a copy of that song - it says so much.  Looking forward to the promised new song - I kind of hope it is sweet and smoky and sexy - a love song is long over due!

January   Thank you for the wonderful news.   Congratulations  ALAN JACKSON you deserve it so much for all the hearts and souls you healed with WHERE WERE YOU. My son was one of those who had to run for his life. He called and said they thought it was a bomb. I had to tell him what it was and where to run as fast as he could and not to look back.  Thank you ALAN with all my heart and soul for that wonderful song that I think of as more of a PRAYER.     Take Care   nelle
