AJ Fans & Friends,

Today is a sad day with the news of the passing of one of the greatest country artists of all time. I am sadden to inform you all that George Jones passed away today, Friday, April 26, after being hospitalized the 18th of this month at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville with low grade fever and irregular blood pressure. He was 81. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as they grieve. Rest In Peace, George. You are going to be sorely missed by many and will never be forgotten.

Oh My ! Our Legend George Jones, a Legend has died. I am in shock remembering having been at his  last Birthday Show with Alan singing his "He Stopped Loving Her Today" and George looked so pleased. I feel such sadness of loss for his wife "Nancy" his Family and Alan Jackson & Family , among many , many Legends and just plain people who loved him. It's just too sad for words. .....

What a Legend he  was for 5 Decades and 150 hits or in that number.. I'm Just still in shock, even knowing he was hospitilized recently. I was hoping he would be at the BridgeStone and see him one last time.
I feel so bad for his Family and the Loss  for Great Country Music  , even knowing that his Music lives on and on..

God be with All who Loved George Jones and especially his "Nancy " of 30 Years & his Family.

God Bless and May he rest in peace. Prayers that "Nancy" will feel that "Peace that passeth All Understanding" that only God gives. May The Family feel the Love from Mr. George Jones Fans all over the World.
His Life and Legacy will long be remembered in his Music.

I feel  for Alan Jackson & Family, and I know he was inspired by George when becoming Famous himself.God Bless You All, Jerrie from MS

If you go to the Grand Ole Opry website reporting the death of George Jones, the first artist's quote is that of Mr. Alan Jackson --- truly spoken from the heart.

I AM so happy I got to see GEORGE JONES at the GOO.

AJ said his remembrance best on the
GOO site. I'm sure  "Heaven" is already enjoying his voice in it's finest form.

I already miss knowing your not here....Mr. George Jones.....

You said it all.  I feel for Alan Jackson and family also.  It must hurt a best friend.  We will see Alan do a tribute in the near future I would bet.
Thanks for your remarks.

We have lost a legend. George will never be forgotten. I have been watching George Jones videos, interviews etc. on GAC & CMT since his death on Friday. I am so blessed to have been able to see him for his 80th Birthday at the Opry and a week later here in Indy. Such a talent and inspiration to other artists.

One of the great country artists for sure.  I'm sure Alan has a heavy heart.

Sympathies to his friends, fans and loved ones.
