Fall is a wonderful time of year.  The leaves are beautiful and the weather has been just great.  Bought some mums & a pumpkin today.
Thanks, Elaine for starting the October thread.
I'll be watching The Bears on Monday Night Football in between watching Dancing w/the Stars tonight.  Go Bears!

Elaine, while driving to MS recently, we enjoyed the changing colors of the trees so much. Florida we see only HOT weather, rain and Pine & Palm trees. It was a nice change. I love cool weather having asthma. I hope you are all doing fine Fans.
I requested Alan's new Single"You Go Your Way" and they are playing it on 999gatorcountry locally. I love that Song and All the ones on his new CD. Especially the ones Alan wrote and his nephew.

Alan looks great in the photos online! I do hope he has a Wonderful Birthday soon. My Birthday is in October also & Anniversary! Alan should just be proud he is not as old as I am LOL. I feel about his age,ha! His voice is Tops and he
sounds better and looks better too. Amazing career for Alan, he's gone International now! Congrats to Alan!
His Fans I have met, are the Best! Dizzy & Mazie, I hope you get to meet Alan one day soon! You are True Loyal Fans for Years and fly all over to see Alan or drive. Congrats to the Fans who get this Honor! God Bless, Jeri

October is one of my favorite months.  I think it is because of our Thanksgiving, my wedding anniversary, which is the same day as Alan's Birthday (what a coincidence that is) and I love the scenery with all the different colours of leaves.  I do agree with you Elaine,  I hate what happens after all this.  Not looking forward to it.  Hope we have a mild winter like last year.

Being from Canada also, fall is beautiful...our Anniversary was Oct. 8, Canadian Thanksgiving Day!!
Not looking forward to the white stuff tho, it actually feels like we could get some soon.  Northern parts
of our province (Ontario) have had a taste,.....ugh!! Western Canada (Manitoba) has already had 10" of the stuff.

Hello my AJ friends,

Just went to our local elections, voting is required in Belgium .... so no cycling today.  The weather here is not bad ... suny but wet and not to warm (10°C/50°F) for the season.
Elaine, glad to read Todd is doing well.

Anita & Jeri & hubbys, congrats on your wedding anniversary !!!

Kathy & ajfan4sure & ajarkansasfan and everybody reading,
enjoy the weekend

Fall is here and so is the weather.           Leaves are starting to turn after the hot summer we had.    Warm one day then   cool the next.             Had a good rain  yesterday and last night.           All are fine here.

I would also like to ask for all to be safe with Sandy if it is in your path.  They are predicting it to be quite bad.  Good luck to everyone!
