Nancy, Welcome to the AJFC forum! Yes, Alan have 3 collections of music videos on DVD. The first one is The Greatest Hits Video Collection, which was originally on VHS tape format. The second and third ones are the The Greatest Hits Volume II. . .Disc 1 & 2. He comes out with collection of his music videos every 4 or 5 new albums he releases so he should be due to have another one maybe sometime next year, if my counting is right that his current new album is already the 4th one he has released since The Greatest Hits Volume II collection came out. . . .unless the first 3 doesn't count since he has moved on to a new record label. You can order all these DVD music video collections in the store right here at the AJFC website including the Precious Memories DVD of the special show he did at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, in support of his album of the same title that he made originally as a Christmas gift that year to his Mom. Enjoy them all! I do.

Was there a DVD of his "Let It Be Christmas" television special some years ago?

I have a lot of my Video's from live performances on TV and/or CD's I bought from long ago. I-Tunes I have some.
Alan's  new CD, I can tell which songs he wrote before I even look. He has a great way of writing and that shows he
has earned the awards for Songwriting.. I love simple songs like " Nothin' Fancy" It's a good song. Love the one to his "Nisey", it comes from the heart.

I wish Alan would write some more uplifting fun songs and a few Love songs. It seems that is what America needs
now..
Love "So You Don't Have To Love Me Anymore." It has a sailor in the background, it reminds me of our life a bit. I almost broke up w/my wonderful husband of many years, not knowing if I wanted to be married to a Military man and be alone so much or travel.

I agree with you Jeri that you can tell which songs Alan wrote.  They're just special and from the heart and HIT YOUR HEART.  I do also like the one by his Adam Wright.  He has a family flare that the Jacksons have.  I with Alan would do a few more upbeat songs - the ones the audience wants to get out in the aisle and dance to.  I'm too old, but others would do so.

I'm still waiting for him to come back Detroit way or Windsor Casino.  I miss him so.  I have not seen him since Mohegan Sun in CT. while visiting my daughter. I saw him the first time at the Palace of Auburn Hills.  I'll remember that forever. I will miss Marc and hope he will be ok.

Jeri and AlanFan,

I agree with both of you. The songs Alan writes definitely stand out. But he can "sing the phonebook" and I would love it.
