MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALAN JACKSON AND FAMILY, AND TO ALL ALAN'S FANS.

I have never known the comfort and entertainment in 25 years as I have known from going to Alan's concerts
with the Strayhorns.  I am still crying over the cancelled Windsor concert but understand that there are
priorities.  I cannot travel far from the Detroit area and need someone to accompany me and a place with
elevators.  The Palace was fine; The Windsor Casino was fine and even the latest place - Windsor Family
Credit union was fine, I think.  They all have elevators and restaurants.

I hope Alan will grace us with a concert near here this coming year.  In any event, may all be happy, healthy,
wealthy and BLESSED for this year.  Love to all of you.  Denise:  I love your books.  More???

Alanfan I echo your wish for a Merry Christmas for Alan & Denise & the girls & all of Alan's great fans.

Sorry you didn't get to a concert. I can relate to some of your needs like an elevator. I am scared of escalators & almost fell on one today. Hope you get a concert next year.
Hugs.

Hi All:  Thanks for your replies.  Hope some of us get a concert and wish you all Merry Christmas.  I'm sure Alan
will come my way when he can get a chance.  Can't wait to get his new Album and have it memorized for the
next show!!  It's always fun to know the words I think.  You're more of a part of the Alan family if you do that.

Love to all.

If you haven't read this article, it is worth reading especially appropriate for this time of year. Alan is know for his generosity to his family and friends. He is also very involved in a quite a few charities, a few mentioned on his friends list. So this time of the year, take a little time and send a dollar or two to your favorite charity. Sign it from a Alan Jackson fan. Alan inspired me to do this for about nine years now.

Merry Christmas to everyone: to Alan and his family, the Strayhorns, the fan club staff, and all the wonderful fans on this board.

I just had to share something with all of you, knowing you would understand.  Over a year-and-a-half ago my 91-year-old mother passed away.  It hit me hard at the time and I was thinking, gosh, you are 58 years old and you are missing your momma!  This week I've been thinking of my Mom a lot, more so than usual.  I don't know if it's the holidays coming up or the fact that our kids and grandkids will be with the other side of the family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but I was feeling extremely low on Tuesday.  So much so that I would get teary-eyed.

What I did was start playing my Alan Jackson CD's (and I have all of them).  I listened to Alan's music in my office at work and in my vehicle driving.  The songs and his voice soothed my soul that day.  The next day I was ready to carry on again.  I've heard many of you say that Alan's music has gotten you through hard days; now I totally understand that feeling.  I cannot explain it but his music will put me in a better place every time.

Thank you Alan.  And may God continue to bless you and your family.  Merry Christmas!

What a great story!! My grandfather had a 78 ford Thunderbird and when I got my license he gave me it and bought a new one for himself..It was my first car and I truly loved that car as we had taken trips in it together.. well one day I went to get in my car to go to work and the car was gone..I looked up and down the street but nothing..I looked down and saw a piece of tail light laying there..my heart sank..I went in to call the police and they told me it was involved in a hit and run and was in impound..I went there to sign for the car but it was totalled..I was so heartbroken..I took the guty to court who hit me but nothing ever came of it..I would give anything to have that car..just for the memories..
