Dear Alan--
I will be attending your September 17, 2011 show at Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota. Thank you for always putting on such a wonderful show. I am the proud mother of four wonderful sons, YES FOUR!! Three of those four will be attending the concert with me. Yes we are truly an Alan Jackson family. Two of my sons that will be attending, Matt and Wade, are veterans. They were both stationed  in Iraq. Matt was stationed there twice. It broke my heart when Matt called to tell me he was being sent back over there for a second time. If a could have, I would have gone in his place in a heart beat. Matt and Wade both talked about how your music helped them get through some of the toughest days of their lives, when they were in Iraq, and there were many tough days! It hasen't been easy on the vets, its been real hard finding a job when they returned, and just getting on with their lives. Your music has helped heal so many of the mental wounds these vets carry around with them. Thank you for your wonderful music. They have seen and done things we don't want to know about. Its hard to watch your children struggle, no matter what age they are. you would do anything for them to help put a smile on their face and make them happy for awhile.
Would it be possible to have my sons meet you and have their picture taken with you? Im sure there are millions of people who wold like to meet you, and you only have so much time. I know that this would mean so very much to Matt and Wade, to know that there are people who care that they both gave so very much of themselvs for our freedom.
There will be five of us attending this concert. We look forward to hearing you play. Thank you so very much for hearing form this proud mother.

I wish you luck w/ your sons meeting Alan. Thank them for us, for serving. Prayers for them and their safety.

I would love to see Alan do a Song about our Military Troops serving so bravly. His own Dad was In The Navy,I think..

You are so right about how Important Music is, to the Guys away in war.. My hubby is retired now but he will never forget the USO shows.. I even depended on Music to get me through so much.I listened to "Journey" a lot then..

Music helps to get rid of that nervous energy..

Good Luck & God Bless, Jeri

952 - thank your sons for serving and protecting our country.

You may want to E mail Cindy @ the Fan club to see if she can work something out for you and your sons.  I'm sure Alan
would be proud to thank your sons for their service.

No matter what I know you all will enjoy the show.

Enjoy the show. I pray your sons will get to meet
Alan. Happy to see that Alan's music helps the boys
while they are over there. It is such a tough thing to
see the boys having to go through that.
