Have a nice time in Pigeon Forge. Harriet.  Hope the weather is nice for you.  It's gotten cool here.

We went over to Jasper, AL for a family reunion last weekend.  The damage outside of Birmingham from the tornadoes was unbelievable.  About a 3 block wide and as far as you could see, just destroyed.  It looked like a row of bull dozers just plowed everything down in it's path, and this wasn't as bad a Tuscaloosa.  So many weather related tragedies.

Jerry planted a little garden, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and zucchini.  He asked me to hoe the grass out and we've had rain.  I think it's dry enough now for me to do it.  I'll get a little exercise that way!  LOL!

Y'all have a good day!

Hello AJ friends.  Haven't been on in a while.  I pulled some stomach muscles and was resting way too much.  Anyway just wanted to let you know that me and hubby are going to Pennslyvania to visit dear friends this Friday for a week.  They live in the mountains and it is just beautiful.  Obviously I am on the mend.  Thank goodness.  Hope they have better weather than we do here in Ontario....RAIN RAIN RAIN and more RAIN.  Hope everyone is keeping warm and safe!

Hello everybody,

Elaine & Dizzy, you are both great golf-fans. golf isn't very knowing in Belgium, but we have for the first time in history, a champion too ! Nicolas Colsaerts, he won the "China Open" in April. I don't know if he's touring in US.

Sharon, enjoy your little garden. I have som tomatoes, mint, thyme, bay and basil in large flower-pots. Very easy and decorative as well.

Harriet, have fun with hubby at Pigeon forge. Wasn't there a restaurant of Alan Jackson?

BHR, Don't be too bussy. Take a break sometimes. If you can ! lol.

Jeri, is the astma cause of the clumps of grass or is it from the fire smokes along? Hope you can go out soon.

Gwen, have a safe trip to Pennslyvania and enjoy the beautiful mountains.

Yesterday and today i changed two large windows in my living room. Not easy on my own, but i fixsed it.
The weeks before i put a new tile-floor in the hall. Always bussy ... my wife say that i must take a break till the and of the summer holidays. Well ... she's the boss !!! lol.

Have a nice day everybody.

the last month and yesterday my computer wouldn't
connect to the internet. They finally replaced the box.
Gwen so glad your on the mend.Enjoy your visit
to Pennslyvania.
Sharon enjoyed our telephone visit. Glad you
had a good time at the reunion.
Jean you have been a busy man around the house.
You will enjoy getting away on vacation.
Sunny now but this morning it was so cold.

Hello, AJ Friends. Had a wonderful time in Pigeon Forge. It has been 2 years since we were there. We relaxed & enjoyed ourselves & did some shopping in the Tanger Outlet Mall. We came home to find our washing machine broken. Hubby took the 3 loads of clothes to the laundromat then brought them home & we dried them. It took all afternoon yesterday to do that. Now we have to go buy a new washer. If this sounds familiar the same thing happened to us 2 years ago when we last went to Pigeon Forge. But that time we were able to get the washer repaired. Talk about deja vue.

Elaine- Glad you got your computer problems fixed.

BHR- Hope to see you soon. I will be in touch.

Sharon- The weather was cool in Pigeon Forge. Loved it. Now comes the hot summer- my least favorite season.
That tornado damage is unbelievable.

Gwen- Sorry you pulled your tummy muscles & glad you are better. Enjoy your trip.

JeanB- Alan's restaurant is no longer in Pigeon Forge. I have never seen it. But there was plenty to enjoy.

Jean-AZ- Heard about the tornadoes in & around Minneapolis. So sorry to hear that & hope your family & friends are OK.
And to all who live in the Mid-West where the storms are now, my thoughts & prayers are with you. The danger area includes Nashville.

JeanB - I know I am late, but I am sorry to hear about the young Belgium cyclist.  That is so tragic for everyone.

Harriet - Glad you had a great time in Pigeon Forge.  It has been at least 15 years ago since I have been there.  My husband & I went on a one week motorcycle trip.  Our main trip was the Blue Ridge Mountains, but we rode thru Kentucky and Tennessee.  That was a beautiful trip.

Gwen - I hope you are having a great time with family in Pennsylvania.

I wish all who are in the areas of the tornadoes & flooding will keep safe. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Our weather has been very wet the last couple of weeks.  This weekend was beautiful.  I got all my flowers planted.  Now my husband & I are going to the landscaping places to decide on color & kind of stone & design we are going to do for our front walkway and back deck.  Decisions! decisions! decisions!  There is so many great ideas.  Well my husband just got up, so I better go.  We have some things to do.  Talk to all soon.

Had a wonderful visit from my friend from upstate NY over a long weekend.  We had a great time catching up (we have been friends since high school) and shopping.  Fortunately the weather cooperated for the most part.  She left yesterday morning and today we are having severe rain, thunderstorms and some tornado warnings south of me.  This is has been one active Spring weather-wise.  The tornadoes are very scary & my heart goes out to those who have lost everything.

Looking forward to some new music from Alan - it can't be long now, I hope!

Happy Memorial Day, AJ Friends, as we remember our fallen heroes. It is hot here in Georgia- lots of highs in the low 90's. We are having a quiet weekend.
We did get our new washer & we like it a lot- it is very quiet.

Ellen, God Bless you too.

Kathy- Sounds like a great time with your friend.

Elaine- hope your rain goes away. We had a good downpour Thursday but we needed it- the ground was cracking.

Anita- Agree with you about the Blue Ridge Mountains. When I was growing up my parents took us many times on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
