Hello A.J. friends,

Where to start.  For the past week my hubby and I have had the cold from you know where.  Then they were predicting the worst snow storm in many years for the night before and day of the concert.  Alan was playing in Sudbury Tues. night.  Storm with lots of snow and high winds with whiteouts was to start around 9 p.m.  They had to travel to Oshawa for MY show.  It is normally a 5 hour trip but the lady at the Oshawa venue said it would take the trucks 8 hours and that they more than likely would not make it.  OMG.....I was awake half the night checking the weather hourly reports thinking of Alan, Strayhorns and crew travelling in horrific weather.  Being all cold and everythng.  Was so worried about them.  Lady at the venue told me sister that they would have a recorded message stating if it was cancelled.  We still had to worry if it wasn't were we going to make it from where I live.  Well the day came and yes they made it and we did too.  We went to a restaurant near the venue and as soon as we walked in....who was singing on the radio/cd but dman.....ooh so nice.  Then I look up and see Anita Martina who I never met but saw pictures.  She was right there with her hubby.  What a beautiful lady she is both inside and out.  My sis, hubby and I went and had our dinner.

It was time to head over to the concert.  WOW......what a place.  We were in the second row over to left a bit but had a great view.  The Harters came on first.  They were pretty good.  Towards the end of their set, the girl said have any of you ever heard of um eh Ah er Al oh what is it ...Alan mhm Jackson?  Well the crowd went WILD!!!!  During the AJ set up, a lady sitting next to my sister was asking about when we got our AJ Christmas cards and she seemed to have lots of info

So happy for you that Alan & the crew
made it & you too! It seems like Canada &
the USA are both being bombarded
With lots of snow, ice & cold this winter.
